Respec question
Not really sure on that one. It sounds like the pop up that tells you that you are about to complete a respec without assigning all of your enhancements came up and you clicked past it.
Are you sure you moved those purples into your enhancement tray? You didn't accidentally cash them in for face value, did you?
The only other thing I could think that might have happened is if you accessed your second build instead of a respec.
See, this is why you read the text in this game.

What are the odds...
Sometimes, due to a server or database error, respecs will fail. It's probably too late to check, but you probably had "Respec failed" in your Rewards channel. Sometimes, a Rikti or zombie invasion in the same zone can cause this, and if you're at a Villainside respec Arbiter, like Arbiter Lupin, sometimes an enemy will come by and kill you. You'll have no warning that it's happening, and the respec will fail if you're dead when you complete it.
If you redo the respec and it still fails, zoning will sometimes make it work. You may have to log out, or even verify files, or just wait for whatever server issue exists to clear up. On very rare occasion, your character file may get corrupted. A /petition can clear this up.
If there's any confusion, after adjusting a build, there's an easy way to tell if you respecced, did a second build, or tried to respec and it failed:
After a failed respec, your power tray will look the same as it did before.
After a successful respec, your power tray will be filled with your temp powers in the order you earned them, followed by your AT powers in the order you picked them
After switching to a second build, your trays will be empty.
After making a second build, your AT powers will be on the tray in the order you picked them, but no temp powers will be on the tray.

This drives me nuts. I hear this at work occasionally.
"I got an error message from the software." (which I wrote)
"What did it say?"
"I didn't read it."
<sigh>
The pop-up would likely have provided useful information and it might have allowed us to tell you exactly what the problem was. As you've seen, though, all people can do now is speculate.
My suggestion: try again.
Sometimes connection problems cause it to fail and it might go fine this time. If it doesn't, pay close attention to any error messages.

I've had fast hands, slow brain on a pop-up. It's always obvious that it was a stupid thing to do AFTERWARDS.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
(QR) Let me see if I understand this. After finishing your build, you clicked to finish and the respec didn't succeed - you ended up in your original build, and some of the new enhancements you slotted were just flat out missing?
I've had that happen before. What the GMs told me to do was simply log out and log back into that character, which apparently restored my inventory (with no action on their part).
If this doesn't work, be sure to contact support.

I was going steal some purple sets from my main and try them on another toon but for some reason after I was done it reverted me back to my original build. It's like I hit cancel but I'm fairly positive I didn't. There was a message that popped up and I clicked ok before I read it. Have I missed something? Probably just human error but I'm at work now so I thought I'd go ahead and ask. Thx.
