I believe it is the exact time you opened your account.
My Veteran badges and rewards hit on the 17th at around 10:30 PM.
I'm not sure exactly how it works though, so don't take my word for it.

No, Claws is right. You should be able to play until 6PM tomorrow. At least that's been my experience.

i have had a different experience then fatherxmas so i guess the best answer is to let it go and see what happens. worst case is if you are logged on after midnight and go to switch toons it wont let you back on. best case is it gives you until 6 tomorrow to play.

I know this to be true because I was trying to submit a forum post at the exact moment my subscription expired. Jun 17, 2009 at 10:39 PM to be exact. I got the "Game Account Expired" email at the exact same time too. Soon after I realized that I forgot to put the new credit card on my account.

I am pretty sure they have some kind of time stamp on when you set it up. I've been on at lunch and logged out one character and went to login another and been denied.

[/ QUOTE ] This is true. When "30 days" is added to your account, it's 30 days from 6pm to 6pm (for example)..
Apparently, account status is only checked at login though.. (I'm referring to the game, not the forum).. which means theoretically, even if you log in at 5:59pm, you can stay logged in until server maintenance (or you crash). Then you wont be able to log back in.
Like ClawsandEffect said.. Veteran Rewards work the same way too. They are awarded when you log in after that specific time of day.
Sharker_Quint, did you happen to subscribe very late at night or early in the morning. Maybe your account just happens to be flagged around midnight? lol

In my experience, on the day my account was supposed to expire I was able to play for a few hours. I logged out for dinner, then I couldn't log back in because my account expired.
I'm quite certain its clocked to the minute. If you pay for an expired account June 20, at 6:05 P.M. for one month, then July 20 at 6:05 P.M. you account will expire.

This has been my experience, although in my case I got booted off at precisely 3 am EST the day after my account expired. I was playing on Virtue, which leads me to believe there's a server reset at that time, even though the game doesn't come down.
I find this erratic. One of my accounts was deactivated the other day only a minute or so after midnight. I certainly didn't buy and acitvate the time card at midnight a month ago! I should have been able to play until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Happened with my first account as well. Gone right at midnight.

[/ QUOTE ] It must be quirky then. The one time it caught me offguard was when my card was expired and I didn't update my billing info yet.
I logged in around 3pm when I got home from work, and played just fine for hours. I was denied access when I relogged for a TF around 9pm. I originally subscribed between 7:30 and 8pm, so I assumed that's when it canceled me as well.
My Veteran Rewards every 3 months are now awarded the first time I log in after 9pm (the time I resubscribed) on the days listed on my account management page.
I'm on Eastern time, in case that's a factor in anybody's calculations.
The last time I halted my subscription I too noticed that they won't boot you off but they simply won't let you log in again (perhaps another reason for forcing players all the way back to the login screen when switching characters). I was able to finish playing that session about two hours after my expiration time.

If I activated it on May 20th at 6pm...will it deactivate on June 20th at 6pm also?
