Decided to make a Spines/Dark Scrapper and would like some help with the build, have thrown something together for people with experience playing Scrappers to advise me on do's and do nots... Have looked at survival with trying to get the resist's & Def's up, so can jump in to mobs and survive while the AoEs do there thing!

IF this is a leveling build, might I suggest taking a few of your attacks earlier?

It will be a long road with Lunge and Spine Burst for 17 levels and Quills as your attacks for 23 levels.

A few things,
-Your AoE defense is low, fill out your 2 Blessing of The Zephyr sets to raise it
-This would then make Acrobatics a waste, so you can drop it and
-Take Oppressive Gloom (by swapping out Acro or Soul Transfer)
-Spines Burst will benefit WAAAYYY more from the Armageddon's than Quills, you'll get more from the proc, and be able to control when it fires.
-Cloak of Fear has hideously low Accuracy, so you may want to beef that up by putting in the Kismet unique somewhere (CJ?)
-And finally you WILL be constantly looking for Endurance, so 4 slot Stamina, and include the Performance Shifter Proc

On a side note, the benefits you get from Purples on Spines Dark aren't as big as many other builds, (especially if you get the Obliterations first) so if cost is an issue, I'd make the Ragnaroks the first to go (Positrons Blast is comparable anyway)

I personally choose to focus on acc, end.red. and the -to hit aspects of CoF.

your going to be constantly bleeding blue bar som'thin fierce with that build, your forgeting one of the prime requirements for survival, you need enough endurance recovey / endurance reduction costs, to maintain all the toggles and still attack... kind'a hard to survive when all your toggles keep droping
you have no end red in weave; and close to none in death shroud, quills, spine burst, ripper, throw spines, cloak of darkness, and cloak of fear.
your dark regen should focus more on end red with recharge and acc, heal isnt really needed in it. (i'd suggest also adding the theft of essence +end proc)
you'd also be better off geting 'bout 2 -KB IO's and droping acrobatics.
also murky cloud is taken a'bit late.

Good advice. Incidentally, a great way to pick MAX end bonuses as well.

Yes, yes, why only lvl 40's at some points? Why for a lvling build and exemplaring. Replace with the max values if that is your taste.

[Edited] Don't forget even if you are good on HPs, you can fire off Dark Regen hoping to get positive End if you are in a big mob.

if your going to go with ImpArm, your better off 4sloting them for the max end boost,
the GotA i'd change the def/rech with the def/+run, same def value with auto bonus of run speed,
BU i'd switch to the rech and rech/endred, the to hit isnt a prime concern especially with your global acc bonus from sets,
and i'd switch the the HO in swift with a stealth unique to go with your CoD, cuz stealth+stealth=invis, ...
if your looking for where to get the slots from, i'd grab 'em out of boxing, since it's for the most part, a useless attack you'll rarely ever use...
