I do all the time if it is listed and sounds interesting. I use plenty myself in every character I play.
I do the same, as for reading bios, but I never got the theme song thing. Just seems odd to me.
Somesongs convey a character quite well. Like for my Agent Wolf (AKA Saber Wolf ingame) it's The Hate In Me by Godhead. Because it's fitting for explaining his character and personality.
I tend to brows bios at random as I like seeing other's creations especially if the concept of the character is interesting.

Writing and downloading takes too much of my egotistical "me" time when playing villainside. Though I will alt-tab and youTube if it's an exceptional bio. Or.. if it' some super freaky were-angel.

I Alt Tab and hit youtube for almost every song, but I write down the ones I like to be downloaded while I sleep.

interesting Idea, I know all my toons have songs that represent them, but adding them to the bio....

I hate the background noise in the D, and even though I have in-game music turned off, I can't seem to tune out the background beat in the D without just muting the game.
I don't generally tend to list any - though for long-term characters, I tend to generate short 'playlists' that cover their moods and motivations pretty well. >.> It just may take me some time to find them.
Off the top of my head, my Bot/Storm Mastermind has a few good ones... 'Absent Without Leave' by Sirenia, 'Skullcrusher Mountain' by Jonathan Coulton, and 'The Promise' by Krypteria.
Rather interested to see what the combination makes people think of, and how well it matches up with her *actual* personality.
hehe Okay I confess I am a Bio reader too. Do the same thing if we are standing around waiting for whatever I am reading bios and checking to see if they have any neat badges.
All my characters get one. Some as soon as they are born while others I will play a bit and build a bio around their powersets and what they can do.. I have even spent time at the tailors redoing outfits after I created a bio and decided the outfit wasn't quite right. Hmm theme songs I never considered that... NOW look what you are forcing me to think about! LOL

I never pay any attention to theme songs.
I cant help but wonder how relevant they are to the character as opposed to how much its just a song that the player really likes at the moment.
For some reason I find the mention of a theme song a turn off. I fully acknowledge that I'm being grumpy and unreasonable in doing so though. Its a great way to encapsulate a set of feelings, moods, information etc into the small amount of space we're given in that little box.
Some of my characters use theme songs, some don't. I do ravenously read others' bios, and if i have time to youtube a theme song, i sure as heck do.
My namesake's themesong is "Gonna Make you Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" by the C&C music factory. Not one of my personal fave songs, but it fits the character's interests and personality pretty darn well. Second runner up for her would be "Calabria 2007 (feat Natasja)" Those crazy kins, always in motion.

I was just wondering, how many people usually go check out the theme song listed in the bio. I am a bit of a bio creep, as in if i'm waiting for a TF to start or sittign in the AE building I will randomly chick anc check bio's. I enjoy a good bio, and often times I'll tab out and look up the song people have selected for their toon. About half of the time I can honestly say that I have stopped and written down the song to download the song for later.
Just wondering.
