Coincidentally, one thing I can say from my research is that the supposed inverse relationship between global warming and piracy is irrelevant, as piracy has increased significantly over the last few years, while the noise about global warming has not decreased.

FYI: Still no cable guy, in fact the guy who was supposed to come out and fix the issue NEVER called or showed up AND he closed the ticket so I'm glad I called again to babysit TWC. grrr!

What's the issue? Getting new internet or having connection problems?
They were supposed to come out on Tuesday and hook everything up and they did but only checked to see if the modem was working, which it was BUT they didn't stick around to see if the DVR/cable was working, which it isn't and they can't get it to boot remotely so no DVR AND the modem has some sort of signal loss so it randomly stops working.
NOW, they are supposed to be out here tomorrow (Thurs) around 1pm but I'm not holding my breath at this point.
I've talked with about 13 different people at this point, received 13 different answers and 4 promises of it being fixed "By the end of the day". GRRRR
Verizon FIOS for the win, once I got a schedule set up man they came right over. :3
