increasing prestige?
For purples, at least, the diff between a medium and a small is SIGNIFICANT.

Thanks guys. What's the Oroboros trick you speak of?
[/ QUOTE ]
Take a character in the SG into Ouroboros and start any Flashback "TF". BAM! Instant self-Exemplaring, which means no XP but double Influence/Prestige.

Arrg! This is one of my pet peeves. It's as bad as freaking out over clicking on glowies during the respec TF, this just doesn't die.
Exemplaring does one of two things.
If you are in debt, your debt is paid off twice as fast since the XP you receive isn't split. You don't receive influence/infamy.
If you are not in debt, you get influence/infamy equal to the XP you would have received. What it doesn't do is give you double influence/infamy.

I thought it was true if you were level 50? Because I'm sure I remember level 50s talking about getting -quadruple- inf/prestige during double XP weekend?
Just because you're level 50 doesn't mean you're good at math.

Glad to see this cleared up again. I have never, in all my time playing CoX, received double-inf. for exemplaring or malefactoring.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
I think it may have been prestige, not inf, but of course I can't find anything when I search!

The only doubling related to Ouro that I have found.. (unless they fixed it in the past year) is that the Mission bonus... (or arc bonus) gives the reward twice.
I haven't checked in a while, but doing the Clockwork King mission over and over again was a really good money maker while I was going for the badge for 50 Ouros. lol

I click glowies on respec trials all the time, just to watch people freak out. They never believe me when I tell em it's a myth.
They're all like: "But my friend heard from his friend, who heard from his friend, who heard from some random guy that it spawns more bosses in the last room! It HAS to be true with that kind of confirmation!"

Uhh.... wut? Aren't they all the same price of 50 influence?

I guess it just depends on what you can afford, and what it's worth to you.
Either way, the point is it's not so hard to replenish a base's inspiration bins anymore.
