Passing down inf

I have been away from the game for quite a while, but have they implemented a way to pass down influence to other toons that you have created?

Find someone you trust and use them.

What you CAN do is craft IOs and place salvage in supergroup bins and have your lowbie pick up, if the SG allows that.

HelinCarnate:OMG it is so terrible. I have the option to take 3 more powers but no additional slots. Boo F'ing hoo.

SG bases are one way. Use the storage bins to drop valuables, and have the poor character scoop them and sell them.

Having trusted friends act as the middleman is another.

www.paragonwiki.com is a great source of information for this game.

Or the good old second account works well too.

If you need help, say so--I would be happy to roll a character on any server to serve as your intermediary.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

I wonder if anyone has started a "banker" SG. It would be a collection of players who would take any inf you wanted to deposit and hold it for safekeeping, keeping records of the transactions on a separate website. Then, you could use them to transfer inf to any character you wanted.

I'm not sure how well that would work, given how low the inf. cap is relative to the prices folks are willing to pay at the CH. It would be nice if the cap was safely higher. Much much higher.

It is an interesting idea. But I think there would be some work involved there, a little more than I would be willing to invest myself. Heh I should suggest this to my wife. She stopped playing this game due to the lack of a market. Ahh the good old days of the bazaar in Everquest. So much better and more fun than the auction houses.

[/ QUOTE ]Smurphy was running a sort of inf investment firm for a while, taking money, and using it to make money on the market (and investors could withdrawl their money at any time, of course). He's got multiple accounts, is good at playing the market, and had some people helping him, but it's possible to achieve.

There was a guy named "Banker Bob" who used to transfer inf around for people; worked for tips.

I use Influence Transfer, but be aware that there are a number of new kid mistakes you can make and lose your inf.

If you don't understand why some part of the directions on the website are there... either assume that it avoids a trap you did not detect, or ask us and we'll explain.
