I might make a pistols character if the set looks good enough from a gameplay perspective... from a concept perspective I lean more toward rifles for my gun-toting characters. About the only concept I can really get excited about for dual pistols is a Matrix / John Woo style gun fu guy... but there are going to be thousands of those so I'm not really that keen on joining the herd.

Now if they turn the Pulse Rifle from Robotics into a full blast set... I've got half a dozen concepts in mind for a laser gun wielder. I just refuse to make a petless MM just to run with one.

Cascade, level 50 Blaster (NRG/NRG since before it was cool)

I thought that guy was South Korean. South Koreans are known for their awesome gun/sword skills. North Koreans, sadly, are mostly known for having a sucky government.

I'm thinking about some Dual Pistol characters, but I really need to know more about the set. I may re-make one of my current Blasters. Since she's deep into magic-related stuff, I can pretty much pick whatever Secondary I want for her.

Magic is the best Origin for concept, it explains everything: "Why can your character set himself on fire and punt Zeus Titans through walls?" "Magic".

I'm going to have to see what the set looks like and what I can do.

I want a gun-fu character. That's going to mean a lot of IOs for positional defence, and probably energy melee for the most martial-arty blaps. We'll just have to see what it looks like.
