I like to have around 35ish mag KB protection on my toons so lift and levitate dont effect me. There is only a few things in the game higher than that and they are so uncommon. So if you can get there with kb IOs then id skip acro. but if you have the free power but not the free slots take acro. If you have no free powers but a free slots dont. Colds are lucky because they can slot mag 8 kb protection in their shields and in the artic fog. Not to mention Combat jumping. Thats 32 right there. Therm might be close. but you do have 2 shields you can get steafasts in.
There is one big thing that accro gives that most people dont take into account....the hold res....if you like haveing controller holds lasting the full amount of time on you then don't take it..me on the other hand could not take it lol. You really need that hold res..unless your Rad and you have AM. But yea make sure you take accro on a corrupter. Because if i was a troller and found out you did not have accro...i would perma hold you lol.
Agree. Hold res is huge now on squishies. Dont leave home without acro.

I don't have it on m Rad/Therm because I needed to drop something to have the Phase/Hiber combo (I do mostly Freedom RV, and using Hib on a squishy is a death sentence there unless you also have Phase). Wish I had room, the hold resistance is nice.

Only mezzes I really fear these days are those from NPC's, and those are so broken, that even acro wouldn't help.
My Therm's got 12 points of protection from IO's (gets DR'd of course but then again so does KB slotting in KB powers) and I can count on one hand the number of times I've been KB'd, almost every time from Levitate or Lift. I've noticed that the number of Mind Trollers in RV isn't high enough to really merit building a lot of protection just to stop one power - if it were an arena build I'd certainly build for more if I could, but I've found KB to be rare enough in zones. The final build for my Therm calls for I think 20 points of protection (he's running on generic IOs right now except for the -KB IOs), but again that's a zone build.

How the hell do you survive a controller PB hold???? Won't the full duration be like 10 seconds if they PB it?? Thats a long [censored] time too be held..almost a death sentence. You say you play on freedom what toons do you play on that i might know? Your not El Chido One are you??? lol jk
Divine you probably don't really see me, since I just play in sirens since I13 came out and level 50 PvP turned into a joke.
Also, I13/14 completely destroyed ALL my vils, so I barely play them anymore.
So that means I don't really go up against any trollers with PB. And even if I do, it's on my stalker, which has his own mez protection.
In sirens, I do get held on my squishies by doms with domination up, but they don't really do enough damage at sirens level to kill me. Only time I die is if it's a dom + good stalker....and as you know, that's not a likely scenario in sirens 
Yea, i don't go in Sirens at all unless its to the get that stupid badge for the Accolade. I don't know bro...to me playing at that lvl is pretty boring. What toons do you go into RV with? you said you have a stalker that you pvp with in there.
Yea you almost have to have accro at lvl 50 PVP. PB holds are really nasty without accro lol. Something like 10 seconds..almost as bad as the heavy hold.
Only toon I really use in RV these days is Sabaka, a Inv/EM tanker with SO's. Basically he's useless. I play him maybe once a month. But it's not fun.
On vil side, I use Angry Lizard, a em/regen stalker. But he sucks pretty bad too after I13 and the ET nerf. I've seen EM stalkers do well, but only ones with insane IO investment. Mine has SO's, and with those, the damage is flat out laughable.
That's another reason I don't go to RV anymore. Running with SO's against fully purpled out people is just not fun.

On Stalker all you need is AS tbh. I only use ET if its like a last resort kind of thing. It's kinda like this on that animation. Activate ET...go make a sandwich...come back and it should be done. EM is still top teir with it doing the most dmg out of hide, and TF critting for some good dmg. The may have nerfed the hell out of EM..but to me its still at the top.
Maybe when you play with your friends on a good team, AS is all you need. But I tend to solo 99% of the time, and AS'ing someone just to take off half their health serves pretty much no purpose, since they either phase, hibernate, run to drones, or all 3.
There's a stalker named Matt Link in sirens that's fully IO'd out. Same em/regen as me. I look at him, and he does straight up like twice as much damage as mine. And he has like 3 times the survivability.

Well if your totally against IO's. Don't really know what to tell you. One of the reason he may be doing more dmg then you is that he probaly procs his AS. I know i do. When those proc's hit it's freaking awesome. Is he one of those guys that build for sirens call only????

My only gripe is the way mine is built he's blind as hell, but TS rocks ftw. I never encounter the things that would make a wp shine, like alot of bubblers or stormies, TK is nerfed and if i get KO blowed it doesn't mattter i still will go flying no matter what set I'm on.
I remember being held by a stalker on my WP tank, while i was running SoW, he spun me around with my cape under my butt, and i remember thinking with the new mez resist wp's advantages (Superior mez protection) Don't seem as dominant as it once did. So i rerolled my spines/wp into a elec/regen, the funny part was he was rerolled from a em/nin. They nerf so much your forced to constantly reroll I'm sure elec/?? is coming i think that's how they try and keep us playing, just nerf us over and over and force us to reroll lol.

Makes me rethink slotting mez resist IO's. Haven't tried it yet but maybe its worth it since all there is in PvP now is mez resist. Might be a good way to skip Acro and save that end usage.

I have a EM/regen that i never use to mainly on my wp.. i can't stand the fact that you can't AS storms and bubblers (mog is not up enough). That and everything hits you really really hard. 450 from headsplitter on my regen.....250 on my WP...lol big differnce. That psi blaster dmg is joke on my WP too. I mean don't get me wrong ...regen is still good...but IMO WP is better.
WP---Regen---EA---Nin---SR---Dark---Elec.
I personally think that Invul is the next port over to stalker. Who knows how it will fair lol.
With the prevalence of -knock IOs, some of which are quite reasonably priced, it's possible to stack up some very high mag knock protection even without the power.
With it? well, it's another power slot in a moderately tight build, it's a bit more end drain, and it's a fair bit of extra hold protection. With mez IOs in the and the unique, that could be reasonably close to what a scrapper gets... although obviously only against holds.
I currently have it in the build, but how many of you feel that this is worth doing?
For reference, the corruptors in question are at present, a rad/thermal and, eventually, also a sonic/cold, both are for zones and kickballs... I'm not really good enough for anything else.
