I love the grouping dynamics in coh and want to make a villian.
Corruptor seems like the way to go.
whats the way to go for the best group only Corr?

I love my Ice/Ice Cor, so I'm suggesting that here.

I wouldn't really say there is specifically a BEST teaming corrupter but there are some that bring more to teams than others. IMO kinetics is the best for teaming corrupters. You are simply such a huge force multiplier with your entire team running on limitless endurance, +50% recharge, and up to +250% damage. Any remotely competent team will steamroll pretty much any content you come across after level 38. I know some people may argue for storm, or cold, or say sonic is safer but none of those drastically increase the speed at which your team rolls mobs. In this game the best defense is a good offense.

so ice/kin is the way to go ?

Well, if you want to contribute even more to a team, I would suggest rad or sonic.

Rad/Dark, Rad, Cold or Kin. /Kin depends highly on your patience. I'd say Rad/ because of the huge defense debuffs and good AoE ensures you and your team will always be able to hit their targets. It's especially useful early on in the pre-SO range. Rad/ can also slot a very useful proc in pretty much every attack. Achilles' Heel chance for -res.

/Cold -- people will PAY you to do MoLRSF and any other SF. I always do speed SFs with my Coldie!

Don't forget the Lady Grey, Shield Breaker, Positron's Blast, Obliteration, Armageddon, and Apocolypse chance for damage procs - you can put 3 damage procs in almost every attack power along with the Achilles' -resistance if you're so inclined...

Then just toss in 2 Acc/Dam SHOs, and make heavy use of Fulcrum Shift so that you're damage-capped anyway on a Rad/Kin.

Procs make me smile, I have so many procs in my rad/rad.

Achiles heal -res doesn't stack from same caster I believe (i could be wrong though)

Anyways, any combo of the following makes for a great teamer

Rad Blast, Sonic Blast, Dark blast and

Radiation Emission, Cold Domination, kinetics, Thermal Rad, Pain domination

radiation emission is only good if the rest of your group knows how the /rad set works.

if they dont, expect to die a lot and get blamed for it.

I have few problems with this playing. If people keep killing anchors, I tell them about it.

other tips on /rad for dummies

1.) Anchor LTs in big spawns, miniosn die too quick and Melee monsters will target the bosses. Target EBs, AVS if they are there
2.)Target LTs at the back of the spawn, fire off lingering rad first so they dont run
3.) Target a different LT for each toggle, that way a random kill wont drop all the protection.
4.) If your steamrolling and no one is getting hurt much, consider only using ennervating field to increase damage output, or just blast away and wait for the EBs/AVs to use your debuffs.
5.) Choking cloud is good now, dont hang at the back like a empath, get stuck in at point blank. Just manage your aggro and you will be sweet.
6.) Procs dont just work in attacks, a achiles -res and lady grey change for negative dmage in radiation infection can help.
