Fly is Bugged?

I just logged into Virtue with my main Level 50 Blaster. She uses Fly as her travel power. I noticed she seemed to be flying faster than usual. She has the full "Freebird" level 50 set and usually travels around 55 MPH with swift and what ever.

Real numbers says im still doing 55 MPh, but the fly power at the top right, when I right click it, it says

Fly
Toggle: Self Fly
Flying Speed +96.42 MPH

I don't normally look at the power's stats. But I don't think it should be giving me + 96MPH should it? That's well above the cap, and doesn't match what real numbers are telling me.

Is this a bug or just something weird with the numbers I failed to notice before?

The right-click info window is wrong for many of the powers. It's been like that for a long time. It's unenhanced value gives you +80% fly speed as shown by the [Fly] info.

Okay. Good to know. My main still feels like she is flying a bit faster than normal, but maybe I'm just imagining it.

In addition to the overall buff, is it possible you've gotten a move speed buff without noticing it? The Independence Port Safeguard mission gives a move buff and so does one of the Mystic Fortune effects.

Wouldn't that show in real numbers though?

I mean, according to the real numbers, I am flying as fast as I should be. about 3mph below the cap. The character feels like she is traveling faster, but like I said, it may be in my head. But it seems like the power Icon part that says 96 MPH is a well known bug, so I'm not worried about it, and thanx guys.

It may also be the effect of a Day Job (if you were logged out at
Tram - ie. Commuter badge or a Black Helo - ie. Pilot badge).

I believe that both of those give a temporary movement buff

There is no Day Job that boosts Flight speed to +96.42 MPH.

Again, the data reported in the movement section of Combat Attributes is accurate.

I missed where someone was complaining. I see some observations and a question.

There's no complaint about the effect itself (Fly is faster).

The question is, are the numbers being reported correct? and it turns out, one way of looking at the numbers is correct, the other is not.

If we didn't do the number crunching, we'd not find these kinds of bugs. Simple.
