Sorry if this has been answered in another post, but the Search button keeps telling me it can't search at this time.

I lucked out and got this last night, and am starting to worry over whether it does what I think or not.

If I slot it in health, I know that it will will tick every 120 seconds. (At least I think I know that)

If I slot it in Heal Other (or Absorb Pain, whichever has my Numina pieces in it) will it still proc every 120 seconds, or will it only proc 120 seconds after I use that particular ability?

It's the latter of the two. Passives are really the best place to put this since they basically activate the proc every 10s, refreshing the 120s duration and thus making it perma.

Actually these procs activate when the power they are slotted in is activated.
Passives and toggles (e.g. Health) constantly re-activate (re-apply the buffs they give), and this is when the IOs activate. There is however a limit on the procs that prevents them from activating more often than every 10 seconds in these powers, and since most passives/toggles re-activate at least as often as every 10 seconds, the procs will generally re-activate every 10 seconds when slotted in a passive/toggle. The *duration* of the Numina proc is 120 seconds, but it will be re-applied every 10 seconds when slotted in Health.

This means that in the case of click powers (such as Heal Other or Absorb Pain), the procs activate only at the time of (power) activation, and will then last for 120 seconds.

I was wondering about this proc myself...

I got one ready to slot but am torn. Most build suggestions I've seen have it slotted in Health, and if that's best I can go with that...

Here's what I'm wondering though: I already have 2 other Numina's slotted in my PB's 'Reform Essense' self-heal power (which I use alot), and will probably get slot more when they become available. I'm tempted to slot this one there too because:
1) Reform Essense recharges every 30 seconds and since this proc last 120 seconds, during battles it seems like it'll never really run out, since I'll be firing Reform Essense more than once every two minutes. Sure it won't take effect when I'm not fighting, but then...I'm not fighting so who cares?
2) I'd really like for it to stack with the other Numina's already there and get those IO bonuses

How viable does that sound?

On the other hand, I could put it in Health and get the effect all the time, and eventually get the Heal Numina in health is well for that xtra 12% regen...

What should i do - Slot in Reform Essense or Health?

Health. As you mentioned, the Numi +heal would give you the 2-slot extra 12% +regen, and the healing mods placed into Health if you slot the Numi there boost its 20% +regen stat as well. Not entirely sure why that is, but it's not only boosting health, giving 2 slot +12% regen, and the stamina bonus, but you're also getting (with a level 50 and nothing else but the two numis) 28% and change +regen from the mods to the unique's +regen buff.

Thanks. Health is what I went with, and those buffs sure looks pretty up there in the Power Stats window, all Perma-like.

A part of me wishes I'd sold it. I'm purpling out the toon that has it, and the 70+ millions I saw this thing going for would have guaranteed another Purple. However, I figured there's a reason this things goes for this much...

Tough call, money for one more purple vs. the constant boost given by the IO in ur health.

Still you're better off with the IO installed, IMO

Don't forget the Healing uniques ARE enhanceable, so any Heal enhances in the power (not set bonuses) will carry over (and end mod, if you put it into a power like Stygian Circle, Transfusion, or Energy Drain).

When used in a click power, does this proc effect elusively the user, or can it effect the target as well (such as when using Heal Other?)
