Personally I spend alot more of my time on Blue side than Red but if you are looking for things to do you might want to set up Strike Forces or such on the forums here.
Just set up your own events and run them, that way you can fit them in around your schedule. 
Yeah it is true...Protector is more Blue than red, but we have a surges where we are more red than blue. Usually we can be enticed over depending on the happenings. If you are willing to sk/lk, then you are more likely to get a team mate as well.

i spend my time equally between the two sides but as its been stated previously.. protector really is a solo server.. most people solo
I have a villain on Protector that I soloed for 50 levels. I don't really want to solo though.
I am always LFT. It says so in my search comments, lol. It can be a lonely existance on Protector, but w/ a few well maintained/scheduled friends, it can be very rewarding. It lacks the hustle and bustle of some of the other servers, but my graphics card thanks me for it.

Protector is my second 'home' server, but I hate to say, it's only used for heroes playing with friends. (They lured me over from my 'red' home on Champion)
People may be on, just playing with their groups. Going to and fro between missions in shared zones I do see a few villain folk about. From my experience on Champion, I'd say red sides are often a lot slower, but the way arcs stay in one zone, without hunts has the side effect of making areas seem even more sparsely populous. Unless you're at a hub, most teams stay in a zone and can just hop from mission door to mission door.

Seriously, does anyone play on Protector red side anymore or is LFT a waste of time?
Once upon a time Pro was a small, yet energetic server. Now it seems to be a ghost town (last couple years). I pop over here every now and then to see what's happening and it's pretty much 'nothing'.
Just wondering if there are any regular teams or events that happen red side that I could get involved with (eastern time).
Please buff Ice Control.
