That would be the only reason to do no DR... to make other things usable to a greater extent. Otherwise i would never willingly gimp a perfectly fine build by leaving DR on.

With those settings, blasters would be more effective. Though it really doesn't open the doors for disruption teams since slows/end drains etc are all gimp with that. Isn't it like retardedly hard to resist KB with DR on too?

Im not so sure on the KB thing... back when i13 was a couple months into live i was doing some testing on that and i dont remember how it turned out but it seemed that the KB mag on force bolt and that sorta thing was getting DRed as well.... but honestly cant remember for sure.

Im pretty sure that KB and KB protection both get DRed at the same rate. Testing is in order though.

DR *does* diminish the KB mag on force bolt/power push, as well as KB protection, but I couldn't give exact numbers atm.

Just loaded up on test on my blaster and he has 53.2% KB protection in the arena (DR off) with over slotting for KB and acro (just for testing). Once I entered RV my KB protection went down to 12.2%. That is a big difference.

sorry mod... but that dont mean much. If you want to test it right do with with that sorta KB in a DR'd match with stuff trying to knock you.

I'll check it out tonight if no one gets to it before then. It's not nessesarily a bad thing it could mean that a stalker team could be fairly evenly matched to a blaster team with those new rules.

I'm pretty sure of this as well.

While I like the idea of no heal decay and removing global resistances, I'm not sure I like that they're doing it by adding more and more checkboxes. As if only two options didn't create enough controversy.

KB prot gets hit harder than KB does under DR.

A 58 KB protection build with DR off translates to 13.1 protection with DR on. 13.1 is enough to stop six slotted Forcebolt slotted with 6 KB IOs.

thats overkill fyi... its between 42 and 46 DRed down to whatever to protect against a force bolt slotted with kin crashes..

It's not overkill if you wanna KB someone with 46 KB protection that thinks they are safe. The point is more that it appears that it scales down at least fairly evenly anyway. So you WILL be ale to resist KB with DR on.

If they keep adding check boxes,at some point there is gonna be a bigger fight deciding what boxes get checked and what doesn't than the actual match.
