Are you entering the AE mission from the same building the other players did, or are you in a building located in another zone?
For some reason you don't seem to be able to enter AE missions from a different building than the leader of the team did.
Were you in the same zone that they were when they went in?

[/ QUOTE ] Mission location is selected depending on which set of contacts the leader gets the mission from. The leader never even has to go inside the mission.
You can activate the arc at any station (even portable), but you still have to set the mission by talking to the contact. The Arc's contact will be in every AE building, but the mission door wont be decided until you talk to one of them. The door will always be in the same zone as that contact you talked to. You can even switch zones mid-arc (if you ever felt the need) by talking to a different zone's AE Contact inbetween missions.
But yes, once a door is decided, you can't enter it from a different zone.

Most arcs run without issue but a few won't do anything at all.
I click on the arc, click play and get the warning box. Click ok, but the contact is still the hologram and the AE icon in my UI won't turn on.
I have no missions and I'm solo....

The arc is invalid. Unfortunately, at the moment, there is no indication other than the fact that the mission fails to properly set - noticed by the two things you pointed out - the contact remains the standard holo and the AE icon does not show up inside the XP circle.

actually all you have to do is quit the team and then join again. at least that has been my experience when this happens.

i was in the same zone they were in but, they already started before i logged in. i was added to the team after they already started.
its weird though because its inconsistant, this has happened to me before and i was able to enter the mish, np.
last night me and my gf tried to pick an ae mish, that was for our lvl range and it gave us both the same message. we hadnt played these toons since ae went live. so we tried another mish, same thing. i tried to be leader, same thing. the 5th mish it allowed us and we have no idea what the difference was.
RED CAP DAGGERS: if you want them red side on infinity, send a pm i have the mission to get them for dual blades.

I was not all alone - the other new guy also joined me.
Then when we tried to fix it, the whole team loaded into the new instance.

joined an AE team and i click the portal to zone into their mish, and get the message "you have to complete your active mission before entering a new one". thats lame because i just logged in, didnt have any mishs, period, and not on a sf.
do i have to wait till they finish their mish before i can enter the next mish? is this workin as intended or a glitch?
