Flight or Teleport? Choosing a movement power

A few guides agree that Teleport is useful because Recall Friend lets you unstick pets when they get lost, but the sheer convenience of flight just calls out to me. Plus, Hover giving me a bird's eye view of the battle tempts. How often do pets get stuck? How much am I going to be using Recall Friend to save my pets? Feel free to pitch speed or leaping too.

This is my first villain, and my only other character is only a few levels above her. He's illusion controller, so superior invis + recall friend was the no brainer decision.

If you have 3 power slots you can use, I'd recommend going Recall friend, Teleport, Hover.

Teleport is the fastest travel in the game, but it's also high on endurance use before some slotting, and has a bit of a learning curve.
Fly is super easy and convenient to use, but not as fast+ the only benefit for you is the view, which you can take hover for.

I always take fly or super jump. TP is a pain to me and SS has alot of zone restrictions for my liking.

Personally myself I use Hover/Fly and towards the later end of 50 I grab TP ally since I normally don't need the extra unsticking power of pineso....No! Bad Cyber end sentence begin anew.

What I meant to say is that you normally can get by with your pets getting stuck since that doesn't happen that often.

If bots, go for fly and eventually group fly. The bots have freaking rocket boots! If not bots, either way will work. Pets tend to not get stuck very much, and will auto-teleport to you if you get far enough away.

Thanks for all the opinions. Given that I'm not hearing a huge demand for recall friend, I've decided to go with... Leaping!

A surprise since I didn't mention it, but it seems to be the compromise power for speed, vertical, and minion compatibility. They all get Super Leap anyways, so I know if I go vertical my minions will be able to follow me.

I believe the best combat travel power for a /storm mastermind is teleport. You can tp right next to a group with hurricane on, or you can queue up gale and knock a group to a corner or all upon materialization. Having steamy mist up means you don't instantly aggro the entire map as well.

team teleport for the win.

tp foe. recall friend. team teleport.

if keeping your pets all together is important to you, team teleport is amazing for this.

i didnt believe it at first. i argued against it when people would post it on this board. then i tried it with my thugs/traps. now ALL of my mm's have it. keeps all the pets under my bubbles. keeps them all near me for whatever reason i need. makes efficient cone positioning a snap.
