im also sure that if anyone has had it for a while that noone will sell it to you.
Costs $10 to change a character's name so whoever has it, might not want to trade it due to that. Easiest way to do it is send an email to the character. Although it might be a rarely used alt. If that doesn't work, then try every month and hope that there account is deactivated. Think it takes 90 days for an inactive account to release their names.

the un reserving of names is now restriced to characters taht are under lvl 3 so most likely if the person is not still playing then they are likely not to lose the name.
If you can send a global tell to the person with that character name then you might get lucky, not sure, but good luck.

This is what I'd do. Use the following to find out the global name of the person who has the character name:
/get_global_name Armored Saint
If they don't want to part with it, though, don't bug them about it. You don't want to be accused of harassment.
