I don't think I have anyone who would "switch". What would be interesting is to take a character from 1 - 50 in the "grey area".
You know maybe start out as a mercinary type, only in it for the money. Then maybe as you level and progress through what ever story they have, your moral compass shifts as you feel your character needs. Kind of like a Han Solo type. . . Lets face it he starts off as a "criminal" (smuggler), shoots up a bar, (yes HE did shoot first, no matter how Lucas wants to re-write the story), and transports stolen equipment (they were the droids they were looking for! ) but in the end makes up for it by doing the right thing.
I think it would be interesting to find out being neither good nor evil how your character ends up.

My BWO characters would switch sides regularly since they already frequent the Isles and Paragon in my fiction about them. They're not restricted to the concepts of "Red and Blue."
Power Breaker would probably go Blue, but I'd have to come up with a real reason for him to do so. As things stand, he rather likes the Isles because of the "Frontier Feel" of the place. He feels free, even with (inept) Arachnos troops threatening him at every turn.

I thought we were going to Praetorian Earth through Portal Corp or something. Everything is topsy turvey there. The good guys are bad & bad guys are good; so what we originally are would wind up on the other side. As a blue side hero we would be teaming with Arachnos to take down Evil Statesman so our hang out would be the Rogue Aisles.
Ok my brain hurts now. 
Badges, we don't need no stinkin' badges... but we sure like dem.

Ok now this is something that I'm really really excited over! I don't play my villians currently as I ran out of ways to make them heroes undercover. Now I won't have to do that and can switch my villians to heroes and be even more blissfully happy. Oh and I might even get COH to work on my computer by then....

My original main, Vorac, started out as a Blaster. Then, after an accident with a tram that killed 32 civilians, he turned to a life of evil (Corruptor). At some point, a clone was made of him, which became host for a Warshade. So, he's actually on both sides right now.....
