Cool, thanks for the info guys. I think i'll swing some of the incarnate stuff first, and maybe roll a street justice toon... Sounds interesting.

And i know that the game is now free to play. Problem is I am paying for two other mmos at the moment, and dont get as much time in those as i would like. For various reasons, I cant take those games with me when i travel, which is one of the reasons that I thought to come back here. And really, is there a point in playing a game where you dont get the full experience (ie by paying for it)?

Hey everyone, it's been awhile. It's good to see that there are a lot of people I recognize still floating around...

so anyway, I decided that, as a birthday present for myself, I'd get a game card and check out all the things that have changed in my first MMO love since I've been gone. I'll be traveling a lot over the next month and I'll have a lot of time sitting in hotel rooms with out much else to do. so I figured "what the hell..."

I left a little over 2 years ago, right around the time of I18 (I think it was just before, but i dont remember), and my question to you all is what do I absolutely need to try out? I'll have a couple of weeks (next week being the first) of pretty regular game time and I want to get the most out of the new (to me) content.

Let me know what you think and I hope to see you guys in game soon.

I've decided to call it quits. My playing time has gone down severely over the last 6 months partly due to busy schedules, partly due to the fact that my computer just cant handle the game anymore. Such is life.

I want to thank everyone here on Protector for making this game fun. I've had some great memories from my time here, things that will stick with me where ever I end up. I love this game, and will likely be back in the future, but for now... be excellent to each other.

i agree. the first three issues were amazing, but four just left me going "eh." the one thing that did impress me was the fact that the current story is in continuity with what kevin smith did in cacophony.

i will definitely be picking up the ongoing series.

the best part for me will be when i get a new computer, one that can actually handle the game again...

dang... was hoping that i'd have my new computer by the launch date. oh well, maybe before GR.

i've gone to comic con for the last 7 years, and after the last one, my brother and i decided that we would probably not go again. it's just too crazy. i like the pop culture aspect of it and all, but it really isnt much about comics anymore. we're debating on doing Wizard World Chicago, but even that might be a long shot. this year just isnt a good year for cons...

on a side note, if you have fond memories of certain movies from your childhood, it might not be wise to watch them again. i did this recently with the Neverending Story, and damn, is that movie bad...

if i would have realized that it had started on thursday, i would have dinged a few levels during that Posi run, but oh well. got 2 1/2 levels on my Widow, through the rest of the weekend, which isnt bad since i only got about 3 hours of playtime friday - sunday.
