Question for our Canada Peeps...

Specifically those of you who live in Quebec / anywhere that is considered in the Ottawa Senators market…

Have you ever heard a song on the radio dedicated to the Sens player Jonathan Cheechoo? Goes something along the lines of “Train, Train, Cheechoo Train, the Sens are going to win this game”? I was told that some stations are playing it, and I would really like to know which ones…

if you can help me out, it would be much appreciated.

I know we've had a few anthems in the past few years, but I have to admit I dont think I heard that one, and I've work and the Scotia Bank Place.

In anycase, if a radio station does play that song, it would have to be the Hot 89.9 station.

thanks Oz! i've actually tracked it down, apparently it was on a sports talk radio show, TGOR, now i'm just trying to find the episode where they played it.

the reason i'm trying to find it is it's my song, and we're trying to get the Sens to play it in the arena

I live in Quebec, to be precise near Montreal, which is DEFINITIVELY not considered in the Ottawa Senators market…

And apart from maybe Gatineau, most of Quebec is DEFINITIVELY not considered to be in the Ottawa Senators market…

My friend is a HUGE Sens fan, having lived in Ottawa for a while - I will ask her and see if she knows the song. Nova Scotia HOLLA! Nice to see someone else on Atlantic time!

Ahhh they must be Bruins fans!

Good for them!

I'm an odd one here in Québec: I don't particularly like hockey (although I did play as a junior).

Unless the Canadiens are in the playoffs, then I'm a wholehearted "meh" about it all.

Conversations at the office are a PITA for me.

Ya, Gatineau would have alot of Sens fan since their right next door. The rest of Quebec would be Montreal Canadians fans... unless of course the Nordiques ever come back, then you can see REAL rivalry again... nothing as insane as seeing Montreal Canadians fans in the same arena as Nordiques of Quebec fans!
