I haven't seen a single thing on new APP sets being introduced for any AT. Though we are long overdue to get new ones all around. Probably just a rumor.

In i13 most of the APPs got new level 44 powers added. Tankers got some in their APPs too, with the excpetion of Energy Mastery which got left out.
They are, IIRC:
-Shiver (Ranged (Cone) Foe: -Speed -Recharge) in Arctic Mastery.
-Quicksand (Ranged (Location AoE), Foe: -Speed, -Jump, -Fly, -Defense) in Earth Mastery
and
-Melt Armor (Ranged (Targeted Area of Effect), Foe: -Resistance, -Defense) in Pyre Mastery

That would be nice. I really want scrappers to get dark obliteration (tanks as well for that matter). If scraps get pyre mastery, fire ball maybe too much- unless they give melt armour instead.

Same here. I'm running a Shield/Axe Norse-themed character up through mid levels right now, and despite the thematic fit of Arctic Mastery, I'm not totally on board with it, since I took it on another Tank already.
Keeping with the theme of Tanker Epics getting blasts and controls, plus some recently added debuffs, I'd love to see a Natural mastery get a mix of TA and Archery.
Entangling Arrow
Ice Arrow
Aimed Shot
Acid Arrow
Exploding Arrow
The bow is something most Natural origin characters could accept, since there are ancient/arcane/modern options and explanations, whereas something more like an assortment of weapons and gadgets might be too far fetched for some people's thematics. And even scaled for Tankers, it would be a pretty cool epic set.
They let something slip in a recent Cat Fancy Interview (Don't ask why I was reading it). You heard it here first:

w/Summon Kittens (Targetted Aoe, Adorable)
Hairball Choke (single Target Hold)
Purr Attack (Cone Mez)
Tail Entangle (AoE Immob)
and Summon Catgirl (Pet, Adorable)
Inherent Adorable Attacks cause mob to Aggro towards them, but inherently pacify so they cannot attck until they are attacked.
They also mentioned a Puppie Power set and a Battlin' Monkies set, all due for I think Issue 17.
