Due to technical reasons, jetpacks and the like can't be put in the game without some work. There's no rig to mount the item in question. It randomly occurred to me, however, that having jets on our backs isn't entirely impossible. While we don't have a way to mount costume parts on the back, other than capes and wings, we do have a spot for shoulders. A sort of rocket shoulder pad could be made with a little rocket like those on the boots on the back of the pad. It would in no way be a proper jetpack, but it'd be a interesting work around and could be pretty neat in its own right.
I'm also posting this in the costume request thread, but I put it here as well for feedback on the idea.
