What about us folks up here in Canada? I can't see the AE on amazon.ca, and the GvE edition was 4 months late getting to us here in the great white north. I'd love to purchase the actual disc version instead of just the booster pack, but I need to know if Canada is going to be carrying it right away or if I can purchase it for delivery from a Canadian outlet.
Please help us canucks Devs!

this expansion being on cd seems quite pointless
Actually it allows for a faster download if you ever have to reinstall and since you get a free month of playing time, you only pay $5 for the booster pack instead of $10. Its actually a good deal.
Both my Walmart and Hastings Bookstore say that the game is coming out April 16th!!!
They are holding the game in the back and I have said check this website it is suppose to be out now!!!
I need this game because I will be moving in 2 months lost the old disks!
Let's see if I got this right. The box costs $19.99. With that I get a free month (valued at around $15), plus a Booster Pack which effectively costs $5. Or I could spend about $10 for a Booster. Hmm.

Got mine from the local Gamestop today... they only got in one copy, and it wasn't even on the shelves (they're very PC game light); I had to ask for it at the counter.

It's marketing and advertisement which means more people will come to the game. Nothing pointless about that silly.
Friends don't let friends buy an ncsoft controlled project.
Just come from two Gamestops in Indianapolis. They only had one copy and was behind the counter. They said they will not be getting any more in future unless someone orders it off the website. Just an heads up to the powers to be.

Maybe more in the future but if their intention was to generate new people to the game via store shelves, it seems marketing may be off. From everyone posting here, they found it at a few Game Stops but only had 1 or very few copies. I am sure there will be more on shelves in the future but you would think the developers would at least list retailers that will be carrying their product so current players could find a copy if they wanted the disks. It must have been printed and shipped a while back since it has the Paragon Studios logo on it. Also, I am curious about Cryptic Studios still being printed on the box as well..I thought they parted ways? Also the map that comes with it needs to be revamped, that one looks old.
I, myself, went to Game Stop on my lunch just to see and was told they didn't have it and wouldn't be carrying it since (their words) "no one has any interest in City of Heroes so we won't be carrying it". I said "Hmmm it's odd that a lot of people posting on our forums seem to be finding at least 1 copy in most locations". The young guy looked as he was talking and said they had 1 old copy of Good vs. Evil if I wanted that but that they wouldn't be carrying Architect. I said thanks and then another guy behind the counter said let him check if they had any scheduled to ship to them. He says to idiot #1 "Computer shows we got a copy" to which idiot #1 says "oh really? (looks in same place) Yep, here it is..I apololgize...this one is blue" LMAO!!! he actually said that the reason he overlooked it after his long "we won't be carrying it" speech is because the box was blue this time. Idiot!

Keep in mind, Gamespot has virtually abandoned PC gaming. They offer so little shelf space (if at all), they can't utilize it for a single copy.
What surprised me was Wal Mart and Best Buy claiming not to carry AE. They regularly stock CoH on their shelves (usually GvE), but all the stores I personally called said they had no listing for AE at all.
SI Radio has many DJs and listeners whom hold City of Heroes close to their hearts. We will be supporting many efforts to keep CoH ALIVE!!
Firstly, I still can't find the AE Box code in the online store. 
Secondly, what the heck game is Amazon selling? Shouldn't someone do something about that?

You can download the game from your PlayNC account. Unless you just don't want to have to spend the time downloading it.

Check out Fry's Electronics in Duluth, GA (right outside of Atlanta). Not only did they have several copies of the game on their shelves but they were also playing the trailers for it on their 50" widescreen monitors. I can't tell you how surprised we were to see it. I think that this was a good move on NCSofts part. We had been saying they needed re-box and put it on the shelves. I think maybe it will peak interest again.

That would be the original trailer for the game, I suspect. If you watch the very beginning, it says "Cryptic Studios" only.
It's up to NCN... Paragon Studios... to get it changed. And I agree, they really should.

As posted yesterday afternoon, the site's down for maintenance until early mid-morning (edit: idiot time zone conversions).
Probably a lack of appropriate blood sacrifice on the part of one of the techs. Also, its seems like they've been going over maintenance windows the last few large updates - likely explaining to newbies how to handle a few things, as well as the random issue or twenty popping up with legacy code.

If Amazon *US* shipped games to Canada, I'd agree. I tried, but Amazon doesn't ship this item outside of US borders.
And Amazon *Canada* doesn't carry the game.

[color=yellow]Ok I'm in Edmonton AB, Gamestop In Kngsway Garden Mall Does have it thought the EB games in Southgate Mall had no clue what I was talking about. Best Buy in South Common said thet will NOT be getting it for at least a month if at all since the CoX isn't selling (as much as they want it to).
So Fellow Canucks call the nearest GameStop or EB Games/ Electronic Boutique to see if they are or already have it in, They be your best bet. Though TO & Van BBs' may well stock it in since they're much larger mreto areas. I'm lucky in that here in Edmonton we have an EB Games & GameStop that tends to be good for stocking in CoX stuff.
Unfortunately I'm stuck waiting for the Account site to haul itself back up so I can aply my code!

I decided that instead of waiting and waiting and waiting for it to arrive in stores in good ole Red Deer Alberta... I went to the GameStop website and ordered it there. Sure, with the international shipping it was $35.00 total, I don't mind. I'm sitll $5.00 ahead of the game since the GvE was $40.00 back when it came out.
With the free month included, and me normally paying $15.00 a month anyways, I figure I break even on the shipping and end up paying the $20.00 for the game when its all said and done. I'll just be glad when it arrives

no luck in Charlotte, NC or Rock Hill, SC area. According to the guy i talked to it was a special order item. Just hoping he was wrong and checking back on friday.
If anyone finds it in that area let me know. My co-SG leader and I are both looking for it.
