Writer Badge Bugged with new patch?

I have similar problem with Creator Badge. Got Author, progress bar on Creator was showing 16 of 25. Logged on 2 days and progress bar dropped down to 8 of 25. I filed bug report.

Same here. I should have figured a way to get a screen cap of it, but I got the "50" badge (can't remember it's name), logged in a day or two later to find I still had it, but progress on Writer was showing 49 out of 100.
Prob is, I'm not 100% sure that screencaps include tooltips. 
Maybe /screenshotui 1 ???
Scrappers are just like chainsaws. Somewhat hard to handle, EXTREMELY dangerous, and by far the most fun when wielded by the slightly insane.

I seem to lose 2 every morning as well.
I seem to have lost nine of my plays.
Just a quick question to everyone...Have you been playing your own arcs live? I know that was counting towards the badge prior to today's patch, and we never got any definitive answer as to whether or not that was working as intended. Nine plays seems in line with how many times I've run my own mission for testing purposes with different characters, so maybe this is the cause?
In other news...The Acclaimed badge now seems to be correctly awarding with 250 stars. Just got in on login.
There was a "bug" with writer badges that gave you credit when you played your own story arcs. I know I reported it because I like my story arcs (particularly one) when I noticed that the counter was going up each time I played.
Wasn't sure if that was on purpose or not so I sent the Devs a note. Getting to 100 plays of your arcs by playing your own arcs 100 times may not be what they really want to encourage.

Strange, haven't noticed any difference in mine. Logged in with several different characters including ones its been a while on. At 134 on the counter for the badge past writer, last I checked the other day it was 132. And I've played my own arcs probably at least 50 times.

[/ QUOTE ] My counter/progress went down slightly when the "fix" Ultra_Violence is referring to was implemented.. but it was a 1-time drop on that day. Since the OP was 04/14/09, that's probably what happened them. If you are still consistently losing credit, it might be something to carefully keep track of and petition/bug in case there is something wrong with the fix. Have you done that yet? What did they say about the report you sent?

[/ QUOTE ] The "Most Recent" badge list displays the day and time the Badge was awarded to that character when they logged in. It's not a true indication as to when the credit was actually earned.
That said, I understand you might have kept track of what you were doing and looked at the progress several times.. and have apparently been losing (or not actually gaining) credit.... so... what did they say about your /bug report? How detailed were you in your report? Did you send a /petition to get your credit back too?

On Saturday I earned the Writer Badge (having 100 people complete your MA arcs), and thus got the Mission Engineer Accolade. Over the next few days, as I logged on various alts, those alts were awarded the badge since it was account based.
Today though, after the patch, when I logged in, it was no longer awarding to alts that didn't have it (those that did still kept it) and my progress bar was at 84 percent (it was well over 100 before). Is this a bug? Working as intended? If it's fixed will I get the badge back, or will I have to go through everything and beg, bribe, and trade arcs to get the rest of that 100 all over again?
Also, am i the only one having this problem, or are others, possibly with other MA badges that rely on other people to play/vote on them? (Sorry, I don't have the vote badges, so I wouldn't know)
