Studio B's Oversuppression?

Oh for Pete's sake! People will complain about the littlest things! It never fails every issue someone has to cry about something so trivial as having to "walk" 20 feet without GASP swift.

Before anyone calls me a fanboi or what have you... I could care less about MA and issue 14 altogether... it is not a feature I see myself using.

BUT - Unlike most people who feel they are owed things and complain about the tiniest "inconvenience" - I am simply grateful for ... THE GAME

(If this seems harsh... oh well... complain about that then!)

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep, every issue someone will complain about something. Like you complaining about people complaining too much.

The irony is staggering.

You know what's fun.
Getting a handful of cyborg peeps together by the door and having them click auto d a few seconds apart and then click the door.

I know what you're saying, but I'm thinking they have a good reason to put it the way it is. And I will reiterate:

"I think it's fine as is, and any work to "improve" by allowing some powers is unneeded."

[/ QUOTE ]

I understand what you mean. A clean sweep was easier and why chance messing it up.

My answer: Because it's just annoying. "QoL"

Alternatively they could move the tutorial contact closer to the door. That would be enough for me and would allow me to ignore the room in general, which is what I plan to do.

[/ QUOTE ]

I like the power suppression the way it is as well, but moving the contact next to the door is a good idea.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, moving the contact would be good though I don't think I will bother with the tutorial any more.

total kick to the gut

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

Is it not more ironic that every time someone complains about complaining, someone else will inevitably show up and chastise them about it? I mean that quite literally. I have not seen, not once, someone gripe about people complaining about everything and NOT had one of these posts put in response.

Oh yeah?

Well you are complaining about a complainer complaining about someone complaining about the OP's complaint.

.... and I guess I'm complaining about you complaining about someone else's complaint about complainers complaining about the OP's complaint.

.... but then I guess someone else will complain about me complaining about your complaint which refered to someone complaining that someone else was complaining about the OP's complaint about having to walk.

And then someone will complain about him complaining about me complaining about your complaint that complainers complaining about someone complaining is ironic and that the complainer wasted his/her time complaining about someone complaining about the original complaint.

And after that another person will start complaining about the dude's complaint about someone complaining about my complaining of your complaint due to someone complaining about someone mocking someones complaint about complainers complaining alot like in the OP's original complaint.

And then....

.... I lost my train of thought... WHEN DOES THE MADNESS END?!

Hmm, so they are. I hadn't even noticed until you pointed it out.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm still not seeing it... I played on various characters, hoping through zones and missions, and I don't just see this happening. My FF bubbles are still sticking to people when they zone, and I know Sprint and PFF are still working, as are click powers like Hasten and Eclipse on my Warshade.

Am I doing something right?

[/ QUOTE ]Well, toggles won't really be affected by the problem, since they reapply their buff extremely frequently (sometimes as much has five times per second)

When I went to check that it is, in fact happening, I looked at my AoE defense in the combat monitor, without running any Defense powers (I've got a few AoE defense set bonuses). The defense was 0 for several seconds after zoning, until jumping up to the correct value.

Did you check with anything else to verify? Because FF bubbles I placed on other people maintained, as did click powers I had activated (two things Luminara said was broken). Hell, Luminara said that AUTO powers were broken as well as toggles, and I didn't see any sign of that on any of my characters. Click powers, Toggle powers, and Auto powers are all working normal for me. That's why I'm hesitant to accept there's even a problem occurring.

[/ QUOTE ]While working on Bard, someone cast Speed Boost on me, and the buff was gone when I exited the mission, though it was there when I entered. (And the mission was taking seconds to complete, so it didn't just run out)
