A couple of points that were also discussed after last weekend:
Please choose one costume and stick with it. Do not change costumes repeatedly.
No powers other than weapons, if it accentuates the costume/character. Please don't use: rain of fire, ice storm, ice shield, snow storm, shadow fall, emp powers, ff powers, kin powers, rad powers, sonic powers, storm powers, thermal powers, lightning field, fire "aura" powers (toggle), ice "aura" powers (toggles), etc. Basically, if it is either a distraction and/or inhibits sight of your costume, please don't use it.
Remember: The more people that show up, the better the prizes get

I do say the crowds are much more pleasant in Pinn.

Generally there is no set theme, we try to get theme information out as early as possible to give potential contestants the opportunity to operate at their fullest potential. Also weekly the judges tend to change as do their criteria in judging. Not every week is a best of the best competition neither. From time to time we select most generic, most gaudy, most god awful, and other spur of the moment decisions. Rest assured if I am the acting emcee of a costume contest, there is something up my sleeve, it is usually up to the discretion of the acting emcee to determine predisposed themes and/or spur of the moment changes for the weeks costume contest. The same character is ineligible to final two weeks in a row, but the same account can final two weeks in a row. Bios are generally disregarded but sometimes they are the only requisite to final. Prizes increase and become more exotic for each side of the square completed. Ultra rares and rare procs have been seen given away when all four sides are connected.
To be in the finals which are held in the SG Base every Sunday Night, you must fulfill the following requirements:
You must meet or exceed a judges requirement to be selected.
You must demonstrate the knowledge and ability to accept an invite into the judging team.
You must demonstrate the knowledge and ability to utilize a base portal.
You must be able to accept the right base location when porting via aforementioned base portal.
You must be able to follow instructions and be present at the screenshot and finale judging stage.
You must demonstrate the knowledge and ability to accept cash from the banker on the costume contest.
Standard restrictions apply. Entering the contest does not guarantee a spot in the finals nor does it guarantee you influence or prizes. Not accepting an invite for the judging team denotes an immediate forfeit of placing, mention, screenshot, influence, and prizes. Prizes are subject to change.
Does that also mean I can only win a prize in one fiscal year?
Also, I think I'm related to the senior manager of your supergroup base...does this disqualify me?
What about liability? Are you responsible if I take said cash and...I dunno, buy 200 red SOs, realize I can't slot them and then hang myself from the rafters by my mouse cord?
We are not repsonsible for injury, death and/or dismemberment due to personal actions before, during and/or after costume contests.

No hamsters were harmed in the presenting of this Costume Clash. Although some brain cells may have been damaged in choosing the winner. Studies have shown that repeated exsposure to Disciples of the Darkhand Sunday Night Costume Clashes have produced feelings of euphoria and delusions. Sometimes resulting in questional fashion sense and poor posture.
In some rare cases death by firing squad has resulted in claiming to have won said Costume Clash.
Oh and 10 pm est is cool with me too.

I am totally coming out for a costume contest. I am having a difficult time deciding on what I like the most.
I was thinking, with that much influence, I could afford my SOs and even attempt to figure out how to work IOs.
