This may get a lot of TLR's but I have a lot to say.

I got COH as a gift for my birthday in April of 2005. The person who gave the gift knew me well. I fell in love with the game, and played it so often . . that it hurt.
My main Crmsn Conundrum or CC or Uncle Crimmy was based on a character I made in the old smackdown! video game. He was as short as short can be, even thought I am 6'7''. He was as wide as he was tall, and bright red. I fell in with a good group of players and decided to get a super group going. I was one of three founding members of the Lords of Retribution. I was the only one to really last, I designed the base and got a decent membership going. We did costume contests, a weekly Sunday team up called SOS or Super on Sunday, and we even hit top 30 (for us this meant something). The rest as they say is history.

I have a soft spot in my heart for heroes, which is why this game meshed with me so well. I have played with some amazing people over the years. People I hope I don't lose touch with, but since the SG I ran has been a ghost town for some time I feel like I might be missing some people already.

all the people that made COH the best MMO I have ever played

I haven't even scratched the surface of what this MMO means to me, nor do I think anyone here will understand how much it has changed my life. I just know it taught me how far I will go to help someone I hardly know, just because we have shed digital blood together. How much you can trust a person, and regret it later. How much a game can mean if it is full of not just friends, but family. I am sure everyone has rich stories to tell . . memories to share and if you are like me, many left that will be unwritten on this particular page due to the game ending so abruptly.

I have plans to go to GW2, but you will always be able to find me as Crmsn Conundrum or other variations thereof.

I won't hold my breath, but I won't give up hope till I hear last call for the drunk server.

I wouldn't change a thing, 6 years and 6 months of paid time, and it was worth every penny.

Crimson Conundrum

I signed the petition and posted everywhere I thought it would do any good. One of my friends works for NCsoft. She is torn, but is standing by NCsoft. She can't say anything as you might imagine. I have been lamenting everything I have not done and the characters I have not created. I have loved this community since I joined it . . . I had a snap shot of the word Pinnacle, the title of a crane game at the local theater where I lived when I first started playing the game. I joined the Pinnacle group on Facebook . .. hope to see you all there. Look for my very wordy and emotional post on the main goodbye thread.

We don't have guildportal for our SG. But my left hand lady and right hand man run a villian group that has a guild portal site, I will let them know. We run our communications via yahoo groups. Its quite useful and I like the system a bit more.

Thanks for moving your event to a slightly later time last Sunday. Our contest went well and I got to give out over 50 million in prizes to the winners. I hope to make your contest one of these weeks to see how I stack up. I love when im adverstising for a CC . . .to yell . . "Come be judged based entirely upon your appearance" It's usually good for a laugh.

Worry not, I won't let our SG contest get in the way of your long standing event. You guys have graciously decided to move the time back, but if we do it early enough that it wont interfere then perhaps it won't be an issue.

I will know for sure after our SG meeting this weekend.

Are you guys going to be running these every week, In april I was thinking about slotting my SGs 4th anniversary costume contest at around that time ...

Planning an Easter scavanger hunt hopefully close enough to our anniversary to merge the two. Look for News from P.E.R.C. soon.

Peak teaming hours: Sat and Sun: anytime Weekdays: evenings after 6pm. Nowadays we have someone on at all hours . . . almost.

Amount of PvP: Next to none. Although we occasionally make runs into Bloody Bay or Warburg for nukes and shivs. Some of our membership have PvP toons but i13 has changed that somewhat.

Amount of Powerleveling: I don't believe in powerleveling, I believe in power playing. We do bring SKs along on higher level mishes but we don't go out of our way to exploit anything.

Amount of Drama: Not much really, we are all good friends so there are alot of jokes and good humor.

Size of Base: This chaned alot from our previous posting in this thread, we have expanded our base a good bit. The actual size still escapes me! Amenities include: Teleporters to all zones, med bay, well stocked inspiration storage (we have a stockpile of christmas presents), vault, crafting table, enhancement tables, tech/arcane work benches, both arcane and tech empowerment stations (including the super collider which gives long duration teir 3 buffs). We have been having SG meetings after our weekly sunday event in our new meeting room. If you would like a tour please contact global @Crmsn Conundrum. Base is getting bigger and we are adding new rooms during our every-other-monthly costume contest; The winner of each contest gets a room made just for them in the base, and gets to judge the next contest.

Requirements: SG mode at all times. Start-up capital provided to new toons. No usage of the empowerment stations without approval from one of our ranked members (Knight or above) we normally reserve empowerment for TFs and special missions.

Other: We have a weekly event on sundays called SoS or Super on Sunday. We normally run all kinds of missions and TFs at this time. We are pretty altaholic and are alt friendly but be prepared to be relagated to the alt SG (coalitioned so you can use the TPs). As I mentioned earlier we do a costume contest within the SG every other month and the first prize is usually 10 mil in influence or a recipie set. We do TFs and are trying to explore all of the new content. With all the new changes you can expect that we will continue to grow along with the game.

Guild Description: Blood has been spilt, WE SHALL AVENGE!

We are a very friendly group of folks, we look for good players and will usually only extend personal invites so don't expect to find us broadcasting in Atlas recruiting. Our villian group is very small but trying to grow. We try not to kick people from the SG but with the exception of military personal who are overseas three months of inactivity will get you booted unless you make arrangements.

Chances are if you ask anyone in the SG they will get you the invite if you are up to snuff. Trial memberships are granted and full on membership (rack privlages) soley on the discretion of our trusted leadership. We are heroes and heroism is rewarded in our group.

If anyone knows where to find the old League of Nations stuff I would kill to have them all. I know one or two of them are on youtube, but not the whole thing.

I like some of the other people here am not a videoographer I don't have the time to devote to producing the kind of stuff that you find on youtube. I am an avid watcher and really appreciate the work that goes into the stuff I watch.

I would love to get in on some creative colaberation if someone is making videos with these songs. Please feel free to PM me if you need some creative input.
