Thought I'd link some songs that might make for cool video music. Some have nice lyrics, some nice music, some both.

Thought this might spur some ideas somewhere. I'm trying to get a mix, as well.

I have several songs I would love to use for videos... my only problem, I'm not a videographer.

Here's my list of songs, with what I see for each in parenthesis behind it. Maybe these will inspire you.

1) Cartoon Heroes by Aqua (A variety of heroes doing their day to day thing.)

2) Born To Lead by Hoobastank (A Wolf Spider's daydream about how one day he's going to take over Arachnos.)

3) We're Not Gonna Take It by either Twisted Sister or Bif Naked (The Freaks partying/rioting in Talos Island)

4) Technologic by Daft Punk (Clockworks acting wierd. One starts dancing, and it gets...contageous.)

5) Build The Robots by Dr. Steel (A Robotics Mastermind and his daily chores to build his creations.)

6) Don't Stop Believing by Journey (The story of how a couple of young heroes met.)

7) Battle of the Heroes by John Williams (A massive fight between Heroes and Villains in Siren's Call.)

The Memory of Trees - by Enya as performed by The Taliesin Orchestra, mainly just a video postcard of Paragon City. It would be my first video and would be very simply made.

Tonight Is What It Means To Be Young - Fire Inc. off of the Streets of Fire soundtrack.

Hot Hot Hot - Buster Poindexter, a party video.

Fire On High - ELO, a great rock instrumental.

Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are - Meatloaf, an angst filled 10-minute epic... Very daunting.

I Believe in Father Christmas - Emerson, Lake and Palmer, showing a hero that loses faith, then regains it.

More on the fringe... I'd like to get these done some day.

A few I would love to see. . .

Where the moss slowly grows and Atomic both by Tiger Army

Can't catch tomorrow and Everyday combat by Lost Prophets

Man of the hour by Pearl Jam (this one was used in some long lost fan videos from Battleship, and was awesome)

If anyone knows where to find the old League of Nations stuff I would kill to have them all. I know one or two of them are on youtube, but not the whole thing.

I like some of the other people here am not a videoographer I don't have the time to devote to producing the kind of stuff that you find on youtube. I am an avid watcher and really appreciate the work that goes into the stuff I watch.

I would love to get in on some creative colaberation if someone is making videos with these songs. Please feel free to PM me if you need some creative input.

Dream Theater is a great band if you listen to their lyriics, I suggest you listen to Innocence Faded, and Erotomania if you haven't already. I have the Awake CD if you want i can always send these songs to you.

I LOVE Within Temptation! Discovered them when someone did a TRINITY BLOOD video to "It's the Fear" (which is now one of my toons' theme songs), but oh their music is fantastic.

Considering how much I liked Nightwish, that wasn't all that surprising, though.
