Work some magic on this costume?
Hedgewitch?
Wow...that is awesome. Seriously inspired name and actually her current look is rather nice. I'm assuming Irish with all that celtic ropeing being used and he hair being red?

I really like that costume actually.. . all I can think of is possibly replacin gthe current belt with the yellow/golden tribal spikes?
looks awsome to me but for a change maybe try some of the tops with skin?
looks good to me as well, nice colors and even patterns. The only thing that might improve it is possibly a shoulder piece, or a pattern on the skirt, like possibly the bridal skirt if you have access to it.

You might try switching the black to a brown or dark green. My personal preference would be the green, but your mileage may vary. I can understand wanting to keep the celtic design on the boots, but try the "Folded" option on the boots. A slightly brighter color on her mask and perhaps try the "Shy" hair design.

I think he hair needs to be changed. I just don't like that style with that costume but ya i'm with everyone else, you actually have a very nice costume going.
Trying tops with skins is not a bad idea and if you go that way I would say give her just a skirt and no tights or it may look a little odd.

Awww, shucks... And yeah, that's all correct. I was originally drawing on some druidish ideas for her, so it kinda stayed with her concept.
Thanks for all the compliments. It has definitely convinced me to rethink some of the same costume. Also, its hard to tell from the screenshot, but the dark color is actually a brown. To be precise, its the fourth down and two over on the left, IIRC. Here's a .costume file if you want to see the costume in your game. I'm wondering if maybe finding a slightly brighter combination of colors might not also make it a bit more appealing. Then again, the suggestion for folded boots could also add something interesting... Well, off to the drawing board!
Any suggestions are still welcome though.
I also think it looks pretty good, maybe just a little dull. Maybe if you picked some colors to give it a bit more contrast?
And now for something completely different!
With baggy clothing.
And a gold cord belt.
Just my try. Keeping it simple, and along the same theme. Just changed to richer colors, and honestly, I could have done a lot worse >_> The Celts were thought to dress in a very garish manner, at least from a foreigners point of view, thanks to all the earth dye colors and checks and patterns.
The gold cord was as close as I could get to a bronze belt chain they might have worn. Really though, not nearly enough plaid in the costume options for my tastes <_< Oh, and the blue face stripe is not because of Braveheart. It's just that they did have some nice blue dyes back then, and I wanted to throw in another splash of color for contrast.
I can see forever 0.0
Here what I came up with after fiddling for a bit.
Hedgewitch concept
You had a very desaturated color scheme (plant and soil tones). I've tried to keep that with the base green (it's the next shade down) but added a few highlights and strengthend the browns. Different hair to bring out more range of color. The mask is a shade lighter than the body brown to brighten her face. Shaded the skirt to add a little more natural fabric appearance. Flat boots to go witht he overall demure presence. The sleeves seemed to be the original visual hook so they are unchanged. There's two versions in the sheet. I kinda like the jacket more as a realistic look, but the basic tights top has a nice classic line. I did some slight tweaking to body proportions and a lot to her face so if you'd like the costume file I can mail it (or stuff it in a transfer site once I learn how ).
Good fun .
I think a brown mask instead of the blue would look better, but I like the overall flow of that costume much better than your earlier one, though your earlier one was great as well. I assume you chose blue for the mask to give the costume another focal point, but I think the hair takes care of that pretty nicely and you've got lots of colors going on anyway, so I don't think it's necessary.

Oh yeah, that was the time that girl got her whatchamacallit stuck in that guys dooblickitz and then what his name did that thing with the lizards and it cleared right up.
screw your joke, i want "FREEM"
Ya the look is great but the blue mask is just...jarring.

I agree, I know others thought a different color for the mask but I think the brown would look nice
Definitely brown or green for the mask.
Also, have you tried experimenting with some different skirts? I think the "Flared" option would look good as well. I also really like the use of the Jester pants that someone else did.

I've got a character I really want to get into, but I can't think of a costume that really grabs me. The character's name is Hedgewitch and she is a Magic Plant/Storm Controller.
Her current costume is all right, but it doesn't really jump at me. I was attempting to go for something natural/earthy with a bit of a magic vibe, but I think it is really just too dull. The only bit I still really like is keeping her a redhead, so I'm up for any other alteration. Any suggestions?
