Thanks, guys. Yes, I'd have to agree, Ironik, that PC is quite zealous about exploring the bush.

Here's a very cool 'freebie' I received as a bonus for ordering some commissions--and danged if it ain't totally awesome:

Howdy folks, I'm home from Down Under and I got a few bits of art while I was on my romantic antipodean journey.
Cavalry McClellan by John Becaro
First piece of art for this character
Happy Ever After by Lord Alphie
PinUp and her hubby in best Disneyesque style, by an artist just starting commissions
Four vs the Fifth by Joseph Caesar
Epically epic!

That last piece looks cool, but the size you put it on is huge. I would suggest putting it at an 800/900 pixel size so it can fit on folks' screens without scrolling too much.
Ohhhh! Very nice pieces! Gratz on your additions to your collection. Oh, and welcome back!

Thanks for the updates - those are some nice new additions!

I would so buy a book with a wrap-around cover like:
Four vs the Fifth by Joseph Caesar
It is too awesome for Freem! It is something else entirely.
I has a Graver!
She's Not There
Actually, I has two Gravers:
Through the Veil
I love Scott's watercolors and I think his style really suits these characters.

*is jealous*
You're so lucky! I love both of them...I'll certainly have to put Graver my wishlist! I like watching what you bring to the forums, it gives me direction where I may want to go next (I'm working with Lord Alphie atm )
Sweet! Definitely put Graver on your list. The wait is long, but worth it. Simply a fantastic talent, and very easy to work with--he really pays attention to character backstory and brings it to his work.
Can't wait to see what Lord Alphie does for you! Your gallery is so much fun to watch--Gray Huntress is a favorite of mine (now I need an archer too)

PlayWorkArt has done some really nice work for several forumites. I liked what I've seen here, and I was inspired to get one for myself.

VERY cool.
"City of Heroes. April 27, 2004 - August 31, 2012. Obliterated not with a weapon of mass destruction, not by an all-powerful supervillain... but by a cold-hearted and cowardly corporate suck-up."
Full of awesome! Love the clever title.

Proud and PinUp

The juxtaposition of the dagger in her hand and Proud Citizen's, um, groin, is very interesting....
Made it back from San Diego, and posted my convention sketches in my gallery. We had a great time at Comic Con and got some fab new art.
The Scarlet Specter by Randy Emberlin
PinUp Girl by Michael Dooney
The Shrike by Mark dos Santos
The Shrike by David Yardin
And my real prize, The Shrike by David Nakayama! I was so excited, I never win stuff. Thanks to David, CoH and NCSoft for making this contest happen.
Oh, and my boyfriend Proud Citizen won a sketch from David too: Commander Australis

Okay, now that life is slowly getting back to normal, I decided to put off doing actual work, and instead update my DA page. I had a large backlog of odds and ends, gifts and requests, and a few new commissions. Too many to list here, so I'll just say, drop by if you want to browse around and put off doing real work, too. Art is always a great excuse to procrastinate.

Drawing your characters is fun, 'cos they're classic and classy.
Aw, thanks, Foo
This isn't technically an update to my gallery, but since Juggertha isn't posting here, he said it was okay to post this. It's a gift for a very good friend and I think it turned out beautifully.
Wingman
Wingman's player doesn't really post here, but he does collect art sometimes too, here's his DA gallery. Go by and have a look, he has some cool characters.

I spoke too soon, for new art has indeed come.
PinUp Girl by Nojitsu, an artist I only recently started watching, who has started seeking out commissions. Nice person, easy to work with, and worked fast. I'm quite pleased with the overall vibe of this one, very classic pinup.
