MSTF

Which is why I don't do the MoSTF. Number one is my powerset, AR/Dev.
[/ QUOTE ]
There's nothing wrong with AR/Dev as far as being able to run an MoSTF successfully. I know its not quite the same, but I've been able to get my AR/Nrg the badge.

Second and formost is my work schedule. I don't get off from work till 8:30ish PST. Hell the one time I did a STF with my SG I died like 8 times...hiding behid towers, even in a another zone.:P

Maybe a late night MoSTF run can be setup if there's any interest. Or perhaps a weekend MoSTF run would be better? I usually try to run an MoSTF on the weekend with time permitting. Send me a pm if you're interested in setting something up.

Saturday is well according my clock, now, 12:15 am.(Central Time) I'm going to assume that there is the possibility of a MSTF at the some time scheduled Saturday 10:00 am (Pacific Time).
So I will be there this time. I hope it kicks off since Thursday is so hard for me to do.
I've done the Statesman TF many times but never attempted the MSTF so I plan to shut up, do as I'm told, and keep pressing the "Awesome" button.

Shut up and do as your told? For that I would be willing to plan a run just for you. Not sure if anyone is planning a run at 10 but I will be trying to organize one at 2 pm pst on 3-14.
That's 4 pm my time here in Missouri. I'll be there.
What I mean by shutting up and doing as I'm told is that I will not act on what I know on how to beat it but listen to those who have already gotten the MSTF badge and probably know more than I.

Our run today did not finish with any masters badges. I still view it as a very successful run because there were lots of new badges awarded. The team was extremely attentive and followed instructions beautifully. We had an unfortunate death on the Aeon mission due to those crazy ambushes. Few more deaths when Recluse got a couple lucky shots in on our tank. Learned a lot and met people I would be happy to run with anytime so all in all a success.
yeah it was a good run, I also learned something new about my Invul tank, LR sucks for him, next time I'll be ready

An impromptu second run was thrown together Saturday night. Thanks to Tropfey for organizing the team and Salzarn for doing most the leading. We finished in just over 2 hours with a successful Masters run. We had all types of fun with a PB on our team spawning cysts everywhere, but other then that really no hiccups. Congrats to the new badgers Salzarn(16th try), Matchstick (first ever stf or mostf completion), Orion's Star (first ever mostf), Artemis of the Fist, Joules of N and ConsiderPhledas.
Learned a few new pieces of info as well. Recluse was able to, Im assume, stack knockback on my stoner when not rooted and floor me with 18 pts of kb protection (2 IOs + GA). My arrogance almost cost us as I was barely able to get rooted up before his end drain detoggled me. First time his end drain has ever seemed substantial to me, but lesson learned I will never go in without rooted.
Was a great run and a great job by scrappy as TL
Dangit, how am I never in time for these impromptus? Any chance of there being one tonight?

Congratulations one and all!
Congratulations new MoSTF badgers! Sounds like good runs all around. Scrappy, I hope you got some globals for future runs heh heh.

This impromtu run was almost too easy. Thanks for bringing me along .
I know how to beat recluse now at least. So hopefully I can at least lead a successful regular STF.
Well I was part of the unsuccessful Saturday afternoon one. And as Scrappy knows, I was the one who blew it. I didn't die but I killed the Right Guy at the Wrong Time and someone else died as a result.
All that aside, it was a very educational experience. I saw things that were done that I never did during a normal run because they were never problems for me and my teams but looking at it from a military viewpoint I understand why its done since they, well they got it down to a science. So if you sign up remember they are doing it so you can get that badge, you can do it anyway you want on any other run but listen to everything Scrappy or whoever is running it tells you.
The way they do it, they make it look easy.
It was great fun still and unless I catch one sooner, I'll be there Thursday 6pm Pacific for another shot.

No wins last night. We had very good attendance again last night. As we were organizing the two teams, we had a couple more show up and ended up with 4 people that I couldnt get on a team.
The other team suffered an early mishap possibly due to lag and a non-responsive Ouroboros portal. They also ended up having to run with a team of 7 in the final mission. Because it was late and we had a situation in which we couldn't handle more than one AV when they had become linked, we decided to call it a day. Thanks to everyone that participated and especially to those who stuck it out in difficult circumstances.
Our team ran into issues in the vine room when I had issues clearing the AV area in a timely fashion. That resulted in many respawns of vines and in an extended clearing time leading to the death.
On the positive side of things, Suriel was able to join in on a MSTF attempt. We also had some fun in the end by joining in with Lord Recluse in the cut scene.
Next scheduled run will be the usual Thursday night one. Keep an eye on the "STF Masters" global channel since we have a few people that have been proactive in getting a weekend run going, usually on Saturday.
Great fun in the cutscene

It was a fantastic run as well.
Well the only one in the future I'll be able to attend will have to be an impromtu for atleast 2 maybe 3 weeks due to my ever changing work schedule.
Saturday they are sometimes at 10 am pacific, this would only work if they were an hour earlier for me. Anyway though I'm on the MSTF channel and I'll keep an eye out for the impromtu ones.

Definitely looks like fun. Sorry to have missed it.
As luck would have it...one of those impromptu MoSTF run came up earlier today. Had been running a couple of tfs earlier and half the team was interested in running an MoSTF. It did not take long to fill out the rest of the roster.
There were lots of regulars on the team and because of this, the time to complete ended up being a touch over two hours.
A great run all around with some near deaths for thrills.
So congratulations to new badgers: Dutch Bat, Kix'adi, jens toxic radiance, and PB Hawk. Also big thanks to Impyre, Nicholes Kin and StarGeek!
Here's a link to a pic otherwise known as Team 47.

Again no wins last night; we had 2 teams run. My team fell short during the fight against Mako and Scorpion. We also had some issues with the Towers but the team (claimed to have ) had a good time anyways. The other team restarted after early trouble and failed in the Vine room.
Because of the great amount of interest we've been getting we've been able to run multiple teams each week lately.
**taps microphone** I'd like to ask that teams be respectful of the leadership I put on the other teams. I stack any team I'm not on with as much experience as possible. I'd like to thank those that have stepped up to lead the other teams and I am thrilled with the success they've had: Sio, Scrappy and Mortal to name just a few. I ask that teams respect their instructions; they are all highly experienced with STF. Communication and unity are keys to success. Neglecting little things may have no effect 9 out of 10 tries but these little things have led to failures on my own teams in recent weeks. Above all have fun and make it fun for the entire team.
Well see you have to run with me again because it will be 3rd time the charm. Now I just need my schedule to link up with yours again.

Team pic here.
Our total time was nearly 3 hours but we took things slow at key points such as the vine room and during the last mission to go over instructions. Inner circle AVs went down fairly smoothly.
A good run overall and congrats again.

Hearty congratulations to all new MoSTF badgers! I know D'man had been pining for the elusive badge awhile now heh heh. Glad to hear that there was a large turnout of heroes for last night's run. Wished I could have run, but family duties called. Looking forward to the next one.
