I just posted these on the costume thread, and I just wondered how many out there, if any, had done anything similar?

It's a cute idea. Taken too far, it can get you into generic trouble though, so you have to be careful. People are touchy, especially about politics. Take The Homosexual Agenda done by a web comic artist who played the game, for example (name escapes me; most of you probably know who I'm thinking of).

There's a Carl Rove Man in someone's avatar, too. I don't know if that'd be allowed in game or not. It's a cool character if you ask me.

One of my all time favorites is Mecha Lincoln. Four-score and seven years ago, Mecha Lincoln started doling out justice! Can a J.W. Booth Stalker be far behind? Having a video of Lincoln standing there and then Assassin Striked by a J.W. Booth Stalker would be YouTube gold!

Of course there's the superhero "tradition" of having Heroes named for countries, such as the classic Captain America.

Comrade Hero is a bonafide Communist/Socialist but he's not a political hot potato as such

My husband made a cute robot defender character named Pink Taxi Bot back in the day... You know, before there were jetpacks for lowbies, and they needed help getting around.

Well one of our SG mates had a great idea for a villain version, and so Pinko Taxi Bot was born. Pinko is a red and yellow colored corruptor, with a hammer and sickle emblem. He does not have teleport, and is inclined to call anyone who asks for a teleport a "capitalist pig."

...that doesn't make sense. He should do it for free, since we're all comrades, and the regular taxibot should charge a fee because of capitalism.

Tell them I said to change their behaviours.

I think Pink is all sweetness and generousity and wanting to help fellow heroes, while Pinko is pretty much a jaded obstinate [censored], who would take any excuse to be beligerant to other villains. Neither of them really "make sense" from a purely political standpoint, but that's kind of part of the fun.

There's a part of me that really wants to make a brother/sister (maybe husband/wife?) hero duo named Bill Wright (politician) and Miranda Wright (police officer).
