Yeah. I realized after the description of what pulp is, Sin is definatly inspired by those guys. Although I went a different route. Instead of them being a detective, he really isnt. Well he is paranoid and stuff and a bit koo koo but not a detective.
He is completely human, no powers except for the abiltity to sense peoples pain.
Its this sense that allows him to go into the direction of people introuble.
Even if they arnt in physical pain, if they are being chased by a mugger or something, that emotional pain or actualy physical pain of course. Either way. He is a seemlingly very weak psychic with no real control over his powers.

Exactly, although it's often translated as "Retaliation Weapon", as well. The "V" in the V-1 (primitive cruise missile) and V-2 (primitive ballistic missile) weapons' designations stood for the word Vergeltungswaffe.

This thread is really exploding! Awesome.
Just so you know, there are multiple Golden Age SGs on Virtue, including Golden Age Guild and Guardians of the Golden Age, so the Golden Age Heroes SGs (in my .sig) isn't the only horse in the race.
I even know of a couple folks who made their Pulp style characters completely in grayscale, and gave them backstories of coming to our Earth from an alternate universe where the Pulp characters actually exist. and everything is in black and white.

They didn't really have that Buck Rogers/Rocketeeresque look to them (for me anyway) so I went with the tights like a more tight fitting jodhpurs. If the pants in the game are going to look right, they really should narrow before they get to the boot. Over thinking it I know. The short answer is I just didn't like the look.
To reiterate: we really really need breeches/jodhpurs in CoH.

Id love that but each time I go on Virtue, my connection slows down a loooooooot which is frustrating because the other servers are fine for me.

ImmortalWarrior those are amazing designs. I've been wracking my brains trying to figure out what to do with that lion symbol. You wear it well!
There's no 'l' - waffen (waffe, singular) are arms/weaponry. Vergeltungswaffe...umm. Basically, retaliation weaponry. I think it's a WW2 term.
