So my question is why are the sig heroes dressing up in period outfits?
Or is that revealed through the story line?

they are actually different characters that bear and uncanny resemblence to signature heroes.

Okay. You know why I never post on these forums anymore? Because they are sucking because I can never get a post in because it always errors out or times out or whatever and I have to try like a bajillion times before it goes through!!! ARGH!

If you want to demo edit them in, they are, I think (qualifier: I have not actually tried to make sure they are compatible with player models):

A_STANCE_GHOSTWIDOW
A_STANCE_GHOSTWIDOW_CYCLE
STANCE_GHOSTWIDOW
STANCE_GHOSTWIDOW_CYCLE

The "A_" versions are for hovering/flying (stationary).


Unfortunately, as far as using them "live", they are for her only. I tried to use them at one of her appearances (she made a typo doing the stance emote, so I actually go to see the emote command she was trying to type in). Didn't work for me and when she saw me try Ghost Widow said "Sorry, that emote is just for me" or words to that effect.

Signature costume items, okay. Signature names, powers, okay. But let us have the emotes, at least!

Nope. She never actually shows up in those anywhere ingame unless she's making a Dev Appearance. Like Here in the Midnighter's club during beta.

Ok, thanks Djeannie. I thought I may have just missed her. Great costume, I hope they use it sometime.

Slight rant...

Sometimes I get tired that while we've got hundreds of pages begging for some of these costume pieces, the devs horde them all to themselves.

Rant off...

But then again, I get to thinking... if I made my character as I truly see her using their creator, then I'd have to delete her anyway to maintain my rights for my stories.

Catch 22, don'tcha know.

I think I prefer GWs outfit over Sybil's.

Predecessors to the Phalanx, basically. There's a reason Imperious' faceplate looks suspiciously familiar. Also, I want Daedalus's costume.

I almost hate to see this sort of thing, because it makes me want these pieces so badly and I know we have ZERO chance of ever getting them.

And they can make with the crossed-arm-hover pose while they're at it, "it" = busily not giving us what we want where this costume stuff is concerned.
