I now hang my head in shame. Looking through my notes, I cut the requisite vague reference to something Hickman. No reference to a Jamaican Coffeehouse... no Community center... no disturbing grandma (thank GOD)...
The whole comic is a reference to the Common Grounds story "Love Life." Right? Right?

Thank you so much for posting this! Due to RL events, I waited around for a bit in Atlas Park but wasn't able to be there in time for the wedding. Its much appreciated that someone can take the time to show what we missed. Great job on the comic by the way!

Grats to everyone that made it into the comic, which causes me to ask... what "showing" was the one that you got into? I was in the first (that is my 50 Empath Defender from Virtue, Cherry DeOrleans was, not Anarchist Kitten, who is also from Virtue, but is a Mastermind).
EDIT: As to the person(s) having problems downloading it, a few tips. First of all, make sure you do "Save target as..." since it's actually uploaded as a PDF, your browser is going to try to open it up IN your browser. Depending on the version of Acrobat vs. your browser, that might cause problems. SECOND, if you find that you can download it, but it says it's an invalid file, might try another PDF viewer, I myself use Foxit Reader, it's much more user-friendly (IMO) than Acrobat Reader.
Hilarious. Very good comic, better than the top cow ones.
A game is not supposed to be some kind of... place where people enjoy themselves!

As someone had mentioned a "dress rehearsal of the event elsewhere, I'll admit that I had access to demofiles from that. To be honest, I avoided the public event because I didn't want to take up a slot that others could use. That, and I was dead tired after doing this.
Ideally, I would've tried to get demorecords from each of the runs-through and included participants from all of them. Schedule-wise, that wasn't possible.
The comic had the working title "How I spent Double XP Weekend" but that would have been misleading... this took far longer than that one weekend.
No! I missed out on being unable to view the comic from my comic and now that I check for it, it's no longer there!
