This is a combat montage for SFX who is my illus/storm controller. Basically its a variety of fights with a sound track.

They're bagged tea... not bottles of brewed tea. You add the water (preferably very hot, for maximum steeping effect)...

Besides, it's the Rogue Isles- who knows just what the 'water' really is there

You know, I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I want to say THANKS to DarkEther and the mods for making sure this post stays up-to-date. It feels good knowing that those of us who are videographers have other folks who respect our work enough to tell others about it!

(And I've watched/will be watching all of the videos here - you never know what you can learn by studying someone else's work!)

So yeah... thanks. That's all I wanted to say.

For instance, the boulder Foreshock throws at the drop ship. Watch it. It never makes it.

I have a serious sneaking suspicion that everyone who makes fan videos has that feeling of "Oh god, there's that error...and that error...and... AUGH!!!" I know I do. Hell, I go back and watch the first episode of my show and physically cringe. Soooo much wrong with it. But we grow, we learn, and we keep creating because it's fun.

I think there was a bit of a misunderstanding about the phrase "I feel much better now". It refers to me being absolutely frustrated with the spammers, and taking my frustration out by making a video, NOT about me making a video that I think elevates me to a higher caliber of videographer.

And yes, every time I look at my demos I see all the little flaws I've made. I swear I'd probably have a v1.5 of all of my movies if I had the time. Don't get me wrong, I like the things I've done... but they also drive me crazy.

I've made a promise to myself: Don't drive yourself insane trying to get every teeny tiny detail right. Otherwise, I'd never get a video out. I'll get it to the point where it's as good as I can get it. Once I start tearing my hair out over a 2-millisecond twitch, I put it down, convert it to .mpg, and ship it.

That's why for every video I make, I finish it - then I let it sit for a couple of days so I can get past the 'oh, wait, I want to add this!' phase.

Like any artistic endeavor - you hafta learn when to let them live on their own. Nothing's ever "perfect"... sometimes it's even those little flaws that "make" the work.
