I know plenty of Scrappers, Brutes, and Tanks that do nothing but duel melee toons in Sirens on Justice..its actually a pretty popular sub culture in there now.
And Conflict- just save it man....I've read multiple threads today where you put your 2 cents in, and it sounds like you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about in any instance.
Tiger doesnt have a 300 mill IO build and he dominated the Brutes he's faced thus far in there from the duels I saw- and what- hes like 13? What would that mean for someone who actually knew how to put one together? THink about that for a minute...
You showed your intelligence level the minute you brought up a Brute 'kiting'....very effective way to build Fury eh? Any Regen would laugh at a kiting Brute, as theyre not going to kill much at all.

1 minute passes, and sure enough, I beat him without a sweat. Im used to killing regens by timing my attacks to kill them without them getting a chance to pop Recon.
*OP* "Rematch plz"
*Me* "Sure"
Same thing occurs. I beat him easily.
Day 2
*OP* "Zomg, Im the best heir, nobody can b3et meh!"
*Me* "I killed you both times we dueled yesterday"
*OP* "No wai, I pwnd ur fase!"
*Me* "Um.. No you didn't, but just to prove it, why don't you duel me again"
We duel another 2 times. Both times ended up with him dead.
In think its safe to say..

What ol Candleschtick fails to mention here while he's beating his own drum is that he actually lost to Tiger the day before, then made it up by beating him twice afterwards the next day. Ive now had at least 2 people tell me this is the case.
Also- Im rather careful with the word 'skill' around Candle, Zen- an Invul Brute with the Dull Pain/Aide Self build is about the easiest build to play in the game, and one of the hardest to out-DPS the defenses.
Ill give him credit for slotting a build thats about as carbon copy as it gets, but thats about as far as it goes.....

The build is good but frighteningly click intensive for my tastes.
Being Regen Slows and - regen is its downfall in Sirens and below in WB or with IO's or Hamis the Em stun can muck it up in fight club too.
But the guy does indeed have some wicked DPS and healing in a 1v1.

Adding rules is not closed minded and also I don't need to add artifical rules I simply can do either and not say the other side sucks.
I can play both ways decently I am postive that I insp fight and zone fight more then you LOLfight club fight so there is no question as to who's mind is more open between us man.
Also I only take issue with folks who take issue with my particular style of PVP enjoyment so strongheadedly as yourself but then again I like to debate on the boards about as much as I like to fight club so.

Ok I played street fight 2 champion editon all the time man and I rocked at Guile, Ehonda and Blanka.
Never once did I hear anyone back then in the arcades or at home call thier oppenant a scrub.
Even if this Jive version of Scrub is what is meant rather then the concept in TLCS song (which is not that far off as its about a never do well loser whos a mooch) It is still a lamesauce attempt at an insult IMHO.

technically, if you really want to get down to it, the term 'scrubs' meaning an ameteur or newbie, came from magic: the gathering. new players would use a card called scrubland and were laughed at because this card (meaning they were using a black and white colored deck) at the time it came out was as worthless as the color combo of their deck makeup. the more you know

It does make it a good pvp set in 1v1 pvp in sirens Con.
That is indeed a segment of pvp man, its just not your bag or the domain of the majority of the l33t pvpers in this game.
That does not mean its not a good pvp set.
After all what is a "good pvp set" is actually determined by the player and their specific goals.
For example:
Since you and I are both on LOL Justice:
"Giggies" thinks hes really good in pvp, he likely in his own mind has the perfect build.
A 3 layer stealth flight+TP +Phase + Demonic kill/KS/ and Escape build.
This build nets one a lot of kills but little actual respect for the most part.
And I am sure there are many would agree that's good pvp.
To me that's weaksauce gun and run build but I am smart enough to recognize that as just my opinon.
After all the guy is pulling off exactly what he set out to pull off so who am I to say thats not good pvp?
