technically, if you really want to get down to it, the term 'scrubs' meaning an ameteur or newbie, came from magic: the gathering. new players would use a card called scrubland and were laughed at because this card (meaning they were using a black and white colored deck) at the time it came out was as worthless as the color combo of their deck makeup. the more you know

You know, as funny as this thread is, I actually have to give ol Tiger an ounce of credit here, illiterate as he may be....
I happened to be in Sirens last weekend when he beat 6 straight Brutes in duels and 2-3 Stalks to boot, then came back an beat about 3 more Brutes after lunch...
A couple of the Brutes are pretty respectable PvPers with IOed out Sirens builds, so I cant discount the guy completely. With the right slotting and a lot of money, an IOed out DBer could make some of the guys posting in this thread look pretty stupid.
The problem is I use too many ellipses...

Thats not my take Con my boy thats yours.
My take is inps are fine if the oppenant needs em and doesn't like Build vs Build fights.
I just prefer LOLFightclub and I don't come down on those who don't as if they don't know how to play.
It's a matter of personal taste IMHO and both styles can show pvp skills and the lack thereof.

Depending on the player and levels and builds involved this is definatley on average gonna learn to the spineys favor.
However the resist in invuln combined with Aid self and DP and the fact that Stone is one of the best to take on a regen with could make this fight even or in the hands of a good Stone invl brute weighed in thier favor since a good brawl to shut of IH and the one good round of smash when a regen misses a click is all it takes folks...
This fight particularily in LOL 1v1 Fightclub is never a given in Sirens and below I can tell you that as Fact.

Im glad someone has some sense on these forums. Those that are laughing obviously know jack sh*te about Regen.
Regen is one of the most micromanaged, click intensive secondaries in the game. You heal at the wrong time- too soon, too late, etc. against a good dueler in an extended fight, you're pretty much toast. Not saying its hard, as nothing in this game is hard per say, but the point stands...
So I guess someone with some sense could see how a Brute /Invul build where all you have to do is worry about hitting DP and then hitting aide self every 4-5 minutes would be more laughable and more, well, 'easy button' than a /Regen. You basically have my two healing powers, more HP, and more than 3 times my resistances...Now whats more, umm, what do you call it in your 10 year old terms, lamerz?
So Im gonna pull a Candleschmick here and say "Lolz moar omg dudez', because that /Invul-DP-Aide Self build is a no brainer, and perfect for Melee vs. melee fights in Sirens.
Also- if some Spines beat you by kiting, you indeed suck, and couldn't hold a candle to me, son...no pun intended. Your build is one of the most survivable even if you had a Spines toon in front of you popping every attack chain in the book. If someone kiting took you down, better start practicing before ocming at me alone.
Also- the next time you want to say I have a sucky build, you might want to prove it by beating me without having 3 vills debuffing me, and me eating assassin strikes while you think you're the greatest whacking away the last couple of meaningless blows with your plastic stick.
But dont worry - I'll have a new Siren's /Regen toon for your [censored] soon. Im gonna love watching the excuses roll when you fall to a seldom used primary.
Edit: Now that I think about it, I think I was the last /Regen to kite kill ol' Blood Fiend with a nice crit Impale.
