Dax laughed loud enough to make a near by soldier crouch as his ear drums burst, "Twenty-five? Guess I shouldn't have slowed down for ya!"
Dax's body exploded outward, but each crystal was so accurate Bang woulda been proud. Instead of reforming as his humanoid self Dax reverted to something more akin to a spiky floating ball. Hundreds of smaller crystals floated around it each flying at a soldier then quickly returning. Kaega had appropriately named this the Mirror of Blades attack.

Energon X winged his rapid way towards Darkvapor's last location. Don't bother with the teleport. I'm having a very bad day, and need to vent a bit. the blaster 'sent' to Darkvapor, the eerie sussurations of his distorted voice clear even in the arena of the mind. He arrived shortly thereafter at the fall of rubble, then growled faintly. He noted the snipers on the rooftops, but disregarded them at the moment- they answered to Darkvapor.
Then he mustered his power, a second Sun kissing the Earth for a heartbeat, hard blue radiance banishing shadows and casting an eerie, unwavering light down the street. For a moment, he hung in the air, a high-tech angel of destruction silhouetted by his own energies. Incoming. came the peremptory, telepathic warning that only Darkvapor 'heard'.
A wave of his arm, a roaring torrent of energy, and the barrier was gone. "Heeeeeere's Johnny!" Energon X yelled, blue power and bloody-red fists shattering the precise Council formation, twinkling beams of lethally precise power stabbing into the darkness, alternating with the smashing blows of energy-enhanced fists bowling stunned Council aside as the Blaster decimated the minions of the Council.

Darkvapor made no sign that his compatriot had arrived. He didn't even twitch. Instead, he made it look like he was preoccupied examining the room they were in.
When the rubble suddenly exploded, and the blue energy beams shot forth, Darkvapor made his move. Normally he'd have summoned a henchman or two to the fight, but time was of the essence. If anyone had been scanning him prior to Energon's entrance they would have seen the dark energy in his body moving around frantically.
In truth he was a lot like a Kheldian, able to manipulate the energies in his body to become a sort of all purpose soldier.
His muscles grew in size and his eyes became eerily black as he charged, his dark fists contrasting greatly to the blue energy bolts of Energon.
Wordlessly he charged. His fists wrapped in darkness slammed into two nearby Council soldiers. Darkvapor didn't stop there. The villain charged Agent Buckman, intending to take down the General's number two guy as fast as possible.
Dax turned to the side as a booted foot narrowly missed his head. He brought up his right arm turning it into a rough crystal blade and shoved it into the offenders hip. He twisted the blade snapping off a jagged lance of crystal in the wound.
"Blade? What the hell are you doing? Seems like I'm all by myself with these guys," Dax said as he threw a crystal into a soldiers face who had been trying to find a clear shot at the blade weilding scrapper.

With the final word Bladewing froze time, for the briefest of moments he was everywhere and nowhere, slashing, bisecting, and generally making everything go to hell.
Bladewing re-materialized next to Dax.
"Okay that works out some of my Death quota for this hour, but I didnt even put a dent in my Daily quota."
Noting Dax's perplexed stare, Bladewing explained.
"You see, we scappers have a kill quota, If we arrested everything we defeat then the zig would have exploded by now...and honestly when you were in there...if you were, was it all that packed?" "The kill quota makes sure that we scrappers keep our rep of being the most psychotic "heroic" beings around........I like to think I'm on par with Mako in terms of bloodlust, but he is sometimes a little lacking."
