What's up with not being able to heal the RV heavies? Is this part of the "There were additional changes to the heavies that didn’t make it into this build. Look for them in the future" type things that didn't get put in with the last patch? If so, there's no mention of it at all in today's patch notes.

After fiddling around with it today for a bit it seems like a tolerable change, so I'm just wondering, mostly, since I know the players hates it when changes are made all stealthy like.

Response made in that other thread: There is no dev post on the change. Not healing is not mentioned in the patch and we have no dev confirmation whether this is a bug or a secret nerf.

Rewards

Characters over level 40 cannot select the Multi-enhancement from the Eden Trial. Added SO Enhancements to the Eden trial choice dialog box.

[/ QUOTE ]

The problem I have with this is that the level range for the Eden Trial is 39-41. Why should a hero who is in the correct level range (Level 41) not have a chance to receive the Multi-Enhancement that is the original reward?

[/ QUOTE ]

Personally, I see almost no value to the Titan-Os. You get a multi-aspect enhancement that you outlevel soon enough. OTOH, you can chose the rare recipe that makes a multi-aspect IO that you'll never outlevel and, if you don't want it, is worth more on the open market because it's part of an IO Set.

I think the Devs are doing everyone a favor by restricting the availability of Titan-Os.

[/ QUOTE ]

The problem isn't so much with the restriction, it's that the restriction is lower than the top level for the trial.

And yes, the Titan-O's are a bit useful to some. Even if they cap the level of the Titan-O to the top level of the Trial, that would be a 41 Titan-O. Considering that I've received SO rewards that are a level or two above what I can slot as rewards for Arc completion or killing an AV, and that I've received 41 Titan-O's when running Eden on a 39, they are still useful. And, the reason you get a choice isn't just because of the timer, it's because some people just aren't interested in crafting, so the rare recipe would be even more useless to them unless they were really hurting for inf.

All your comment did was blur the issue at hand, namely that capping a reward at a level that is lower than the level for the Trial is is a poor approach. Others have offered very good soultions for it in this thread.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Im actually curious if anyone knows the reasoning behind removing lv 45 and 46 from getting a hami during the raid.

Seems like the risk is still there so should not the reward be as well?

And yes i know they cant use it, but they can still get it and use it when they reach 47.

[/ QUOTE ]

There are only level 50 Hami-O's. So, a level 46, for example, couldn't slot a Hami-O if they took it as a reward. Previously, people in those level ranges could select a Hami-O but the server wouldn't cough it up for them and well, they would be a very sad panda that they went through the raid and got nothing in the end. As the fix for that bug, we simply removed the option for getting a Hami-O. There are some other rewards in the table they can choose from.

Can't tell you how many times I killed an AV or completed a TF and got an SO drop that was Red to me. I went and stuck it in base storage or left it in my tray until I could use it.

Would a simpler and more player friendly change have been a text change to the reward screen emplasizing in COLOR & BOLD Click to receive a LEVEL 50 HAMIDON ORIGIN enhancement.

There, see how easy that was?

Just a guess, of course, but it may be that they have some code that wants to award the enhancement based on the character's level, and maybe that is rubbing up against code that forces a Hami-O to be 50... but rubbing it in a bad way such that the below-47 person could actually get nada rather than a level 50 Hami-O . If so, then, from my perspective, that just means that that selection window isn't quite done yet if they are going to use it with Hami-Os. I hope that is what they are thinking, too, and that pulling the Hami-O option from the list is just a temporary workaround to keep 45s and 46s from getting nada until it is fixed.

It would be nice to know for sure, though. *hint hint* >.>

Actually, no. You see, the response that you QUOTED says that if they did that they would get NOTHING. That is the bug. The solution here is that you are not allowed to pick the bugged option.
