You see a few of us have voluteered now we need to some how get a calender done.

Volunteering? Oh, oh! Pick me, pick me! There has to be one of my characters that would be suitable beefcake. Just look at the link in my signature (The Live Space one, not the deviantART, though that gets me thinking that I should maybe perhaps add some screenshots of my characters to deviantART).

Of course I do! I'm all about equal time I mean, there are first off a LOT of female players in COH/V, and there are a lot of 'other' folks who wouldn't mind seeing some beefcake either.

Oh yeah - I haven't seen him in here yet, I want to also nominate Aerones' Phoebus for like, January. He'll bring some warmth into those long winter nights...

1680x1050 is the next step down in widescreen (I think) to keep the ratio correct... but anything close would still be nice when enlarged to the screen.

All right, what the heck is the deal with the text on Rowrs' web page in the lower left? Maybe I'm completely nuts but it looks to me like the blue text is further away than the white text, especially if I'm not looking directly at it. What kind of freaky optical illusion is that??

Now you are playing with my head!

The lower left of the web page has the choices between Full res, 1600x1200, and so on. The links are blue text, the file sizes are in white. For whatever reason, to my eyes the white text seems closer to me than the blue text - so the white text literally stands out. It's really a pretty cool 3D effect.

It's some sort of optical illusion but I can't figure out why it would happen. Is there an optomitrist in the house? A bio-physicist perhaps?

Oh. That's because dark colors recede and bright colors come towards you. That's what we artists call 'depth' :P

And no not intentional. But perhaps I should brighten up the link colors :P
