(Facepalms) Silly me. Here goes...

H'taed's armor suddenly stopped smoking. He glared at Aolelb as he drifted into the chaotic currents of the portal.
"Great work schmuck. Sure, you stabalized the portal...but it became destabalized before it had the location set! We are now STUCK HERE FOR ETERNITY since this was a one way portal! And I can't even kill you since we are both intangible! BAH!"
He glared at Aoleleb.
"And in the meantime, the Rularuu now have the device. Even with that blast of yours, you couldn't have killed all of them. Then there is Lanaruu the Mad himself. She's probably dead by now."
-----
The surviving Rularuu surrounded Nether Mistress. There appeared to be two ways out of the temple.
A very nasty and painful death, or through the portal.

I have a plan to get us all out of the portal, but I want to give Nether a chance to dive in or miraculously escape before I use it.
((I have a plan too, you don't have an anti-teleportation field INSIDE the portal do you? Now who's a schmuck? lol :P If I may inquire, how did it become destabalized again?))

Where do you plan to teleport in the endless Void good sir? Maybe that patch of empty space a mile away looks more promising then the one you're already occupying hmm?
Unless you have a dimensional teleport...in which case, yea, it would work.
((I do have a dimensional teleport, one of the perks of being an trans-dimensional peacekeeper ))

And what do you mean "destabalized again?" Its still stable. What I said was that the portal was one way, so you can't GO BACK after using it, and that it was destabalized when it was interupted by H'taed's interuption, so it never locked onto its intended location...
((Heh, 2 ways out my [censored] ))
Last thing Nether knew was her flying towards the portal in a heap with Aoleleb. She landed on the floor with a thud. Blinking, she looked around to find several very disgruntled looking Rularuu barring down on her. Lanaruu was no where to be found. The portal looked as though it had stablilized, but was rapidly closing. The little information she knew about portals was that after a massive power surge in or around one, they have a tendency to implode.
She knew she had to get out of their quickly. Running for the door as fast as she could, she could hear the crackling energies of the portal and pounding of Rularuu footsteps behind her. She flew out of the Storm Palace like a bat out of hell and headed for the nearest island. From a safe distance, the Storm Palace looked as though it was being erased from the inside. As the outer walls began to disintegrate the whole thing exploded.
What was left when the dust had settled was a small portal about 3ft in diameter. Lightning was crackling around it, and the inside was swirling uncontrolably.
"Either those two actually made it through or they're stuck, but it doesn't matter now; I've got the device."
With that she found a quiet spot, considering most of the Rularuu were surging to where the Storm Palace used to be to find out what happend, and began meditating. She needed to regain her strength and figure a way to get the package from the device.
((I figured you might need the portal to still be there to get out, but if not w/e))

((I'm lost. You said it was not able to stabalize because I threw H'taed into it. Aoleleb and Krystell stabalized it now, so it should send us SOMEHWERE.))

((OK basically, Aoleleb's partners in crime stabilized the portal momentarily, but with Lanaruu not concentrating on it anymore, the huge blast created by Aoleleb, and the intrusion of the GoPC HQ portal tech, destabilized it. Least that's how I'm interpreting it.))

H'taed fumed in the Void, completely ignoring Aoleleb.
"Now I'm [censored] stuck here for the rest of [censored] eternity...Just PEACHY." He screamed.
"Now now, H'taed. No need to yell. You're forgetting something." Said a mysterious voice.
"Oh great I've gone insane and started to hear imanginary voices already! DAMNIT!" He screamed again.
"Or your boss sensed you were in a tight spot and sent me here to whisk you to safety?"
H'taed blinked.
He whirled around.
There was a little bubble floating in space. Inside the bubble was a little mini-garden with a glass table in it, and a few lawn chairs.
A man with long white hair in a toga was cheerfully sipping a cup of tea from one of the chairs.
"NOITPECED!" H'taed said.
"Glad to see me Lord H'taed?" The hologram grinned.
"Hop in, I have room for one more, directly to Husk Corp. We'll fix you up and send you after the device again."
"Sounds good to me." H'taed nodded, and began to drift towards the bubble.
Aoleleb looked out through the small window the portal provided into the Shadow Shard.
"Well, it looks like Nether escaped and has the package. H'taed is apparently not going to bother me anymore. Guess I'll get out of here."
Openeing a portal back into the Shadow Shard, Aoleleb landed right next to Nether. The portal closed behind him
"Sorry about back in the Storm Palace. I needed to dispose of H'taed somehow and I was fairly certain you'd make it out."

And no, that's not what happened...
What happened was, the portal was still destabalized wqhen H'taed flew into it. It was currently selecting the location it was supposed to link to, but H'taed's signature threw it off, cutting off the opposite site. So the portal is still stable, it just doesn't go anywhere.
((Oh, ok, not that it matters anymore :P))

What was only minutes in the Shadow Shard was hours to H'taed in the Husk Corperation Dimension.
A rift opened up in the shadow shard, and Lord H'taed leapt out, fully healed and ready for combat.
He stared around, looking for the two heroes. He spotted them on a hillside about two miles away.
"Ready or not, here I come..." He growled.
However, he knew the heroes would not share the device. A fight was going to break between the two soon, and H'taed would be sure he was there to pick up the pieces, and maybe break them up a little bit more.
Instead of using a lightning bolt to instantly get there, he quickly began to walk towards their location.
Still in her meditation position, and eyes still closed.
"Thank you for the help, but unfortunately it was a lost cause. Right after the massive detonation you caused, I lost the device on the way out. I'm trying to locate it now. I would suggest you start looking for it too if you're keen on finding it."
She knew her life would be over if it wasn't for him, but she wasn't about to reveal that she still had the device, especially some stranger that just showed up.
((I know he's a dimensional traveler and such, but if you say he can read minds too, it's all over. And technically I don't think H'taed can't use the lightning to transport in the Shards anymore. You yourself pointed out that he could because of the Storm Palace, which isn't there anymore.))

Aoleleb let out a frustrated sigh.
"That's all right, I'll be able to find it in a few hours. Hey Krystell?"
"What? Is it not enough that I just saved your life a few times over?"
"I love you too. Can you get me a lock on the location of the deivce?"
"It'll take me a while, but sure. I suggest you don't stay by the Storm Palace. The Rularuu will surely be able to sense you with the amount of energy still hanging off you from that blast."
"Alright, I'm gonna stop by my Pocket and rest a while. It's been a rough day."
Opening the portal to his Pocket he left with this remark.
"Thank you for your help Nether Mistress. I hope we don't meet again."
The portal closed behind him.
((I'll be back, make no mistake about that. Interpret his closing words as you will No he can't read minds.))

H'taed watched as Aoleleb vanished through a portal.
"Show time..."
He muttered.
He activated his super speed and lightning reflexes, and shot towards Nether at almost the speed of light, aiming to knock her out with one well placed electrically charged and super accelerated punch.
((Just so yall know, and as a reminder to myself so I don't become too powerful, Aoleleb has control over the elements. These are Earth, Water, Ice and Air. He has some control over the energy elements, Fire, Electricity and pure Energy (as demonstrated by his massive detonation), but those are not as strong as his control over the elements of nature. He can also travel around using portals, which can teleport him almost anywhere.))

"Phew, that was a close one."
She let out a sigh, and got up.
"Time to start moving, any longer and the whole of the Rularuu might be down on me."
She began conjuring a portal to take her back to Paragon City.

H'taed swung his light-speed and electrically charged fist at Nether...
(Check out my previous post. Waiting for your response Nether.)
((Am I gonna have to pull a Deus Ex Machina again..? ))

((You said you were coming towards me, not that you were already there, I was just waiting for you :P))
The punch smashed into her, square in the back. She flew head over heels into her shadow gate, but since she hadn't finished the spell, it dissapated behind her. See as H'taed wasn't stopping anytime soon, she went for her contingency plan.
Standing up near the edge of the island, she prayed that her Shard Teleportation Beacon was still active. If this worked the Beacon would activate and instantly teleport her to Fire Base Zulu.
"Thanks for the fun, and.. ouch *winces* the pains. And good luck getting to where I'm going."
With that she stepped back, off the edge of the island.

Nether thought she felt a swish of wind right before she stepped off the island.
She started to fall.
Her beacon wasn't activating.
"Looking for this?" H'taed shouted down at her. He held the teleport beacon out over the edge of the cliff for her to see.
He had guessed what she had been about to do, seeing as villains came equipped with standard Grandville beacons for Shadow Shard situations. As of such, he knew perfectly well about the never-ending sky paradox, and how heroes had thier beacons to save them. He had then supersped over to her and snatched her beacon before she had even finished her first step off the island.
Always one to remain cool even when most normal people would be freaking out, she pulled out the device.
"Looking for this?" she yelled back up at him.
She may be falling forever, but it gave her time to figure out how the device worked.

H'taed tossed Nether's beacon to the ground, and smelted it with an electric ray. Then he set his own beacon for manual activation, and jumped down after Nether.
As electricity always sought the ground, H'taed commanded his electric body to accelerate in its search for ground to land on. He started to fall faster, quickly catching up with Nether.
"Free fall battle. This is gonna be awsome."
Coming up above her, he raised his fists, then brought them down towards her head...
