((Guys, brute force isn't going to work here. This thing can only be destroyed through "Psycological Warfare". Now if you don't mind H'taed, I'm going to give you a taste of your own medicine.))

The staff descended toward Krystell who just stood there, totally unfazed. Right before the staff hit, a portion of pure dimensional energy rose from the ground and blocked the attack!

The whole dimension was fighting for her!

The ground around the Avatar's legs started to twist upward at an alarming rate. Krystell threw a bolt of energy at the Avatar. As it flew it split, then split again, and again! They hurtled toward the Avatar but never struck. They just floated there in the air around him.

((LMAO!, AT least she isn't like Goku going into SS3 for the first time. He "charged up" (read: screamed) for an entire episode :P))

The avatar simply swung his charged staff at Shoshemi as she flew forward.

His five new hands, now finding themselves target-less, all headed for Alex.

-----

The Avatar blinked.

Then vanished.

Right behind Krystell, the avatar had reappeared and shrunk down to normal size again. Both the staff and a bolt of energy were heading straight for the back of her head.

((Kinda hoped that self sacrifice would make it see itself as the evil one, seeing as she had literally thrown herself in front of Shoshemi to defend her, and taken the full force of it o.o; ))

Alex didn't move as the hands came at her. She seemed a bit drained, looking pretty out of it. She just held her arms close to her chest, counting to herself in a quiet voice. She was well into the hundreds by now.

The staff and energy bolt seemed to just stop in midair for no reason. No matter how hard the Avatar tried, the staff could not be moved.

"I must ask you a question, Avatar of Justice. Why do you seek to destroy me?"

The avatar frowned slightly.

"You saved the Earth."

He then raised his hand, and there was a flash of light...

There was a giant rumbling in the distance.

If Krystell had bothered looking up, she would hav seen the meteor which had appeared out of thin air screaming for her at well over the speed of sound.

((You saved the Earth...

Along with all the nuaghty people on it! Shame on you! You cruel monster! ))

Krystell continued talking. She knew the meteor was there, but she didn't show it.

"Wait a second. Last I checked, one of definitions of Justice is "The quality of being just; fairness." Emphasis on Fairness. Yes I saved the Earth and all the criminals on it, but I also saved countless innocent lives."

The avatar smirked, but didn't bother answering.

Suddenly the ground started to rise up to entomb Krystell.

The air exploded in a tremendous wave of heat.

The meateor was less then a second away from striking.

Far away in the distance, a mound of earth started to slowly climb into the sky...

'Hey!" Krystell shouted with a voice that was magnified a hundred times "This is MY dimension!"

All of a sudden the ground below Krystell settled back into the ground, the air instantly cooled, the meteor dissapeared and the mound of earth in the distance dissapeared!

"Now, if you don't mind, answer my question."

Then the staff descended upon Krystell's head.

The avatar had let go of it when he had lost control. However, during Krystell's questions, and her further manipulation of her dimension, he attention must have lapsed. The avatar had remotely moved the staff slowly through the air until it was behind Krystell.

Fully charged with power, it descended towards her head. Even though it cleaved the air, it didn't even make a whisper. Krystell probably wouldn't detect it until it had cracked against her skull and fried her brains.

Shoshemi sheathed one arm in a force field and deflected the staff, instantly stopped her moment, and reversed it with a heelside roundhouse aimed at the Avatar's side.

((Hehe, hate to tell you this, but she doesn't need to manipulate it. The dimension will fight to protect her of its own acord))

A look of surprised crossed Krystell's face as she was sucked into the ground. She popped back up a few yards away, completely safe from the staff.

"Wow" she said surprised, "I never thought an Avatar of JUSTICE would stoop to such underhanded tricks."

As she finished that sentance, she noticed the screaming fireball that was no less then two centimeters from her face. The avatar had thrown it the second he saw the hairs on her head start to rise from the ground.

-----

The roundhouse hit the avatar...

Who simply looked down at the foot musing.

If anyone had been listening, they would have heard a soft crackling noise as Shoshemi's foot connection. Sadly, it was the apparent shattering of all Shoshemi's bones in her foot.

The avatar decided to follow that little insult up with a staff strike to the main part of Shoshemi's leg, and a lightning bolt blast towards her face.

The fireball hit Krystell full on in the face and blew her back a good ways. ((I was tired of avoiding everything and this works to my advantage))

All of a sudden the entire dimension started rumbling. Blasts of different elements started firing at the Avatar from seemingly out of nowhere. Krystell got up a little blackened but otherwise unhurt from the fireball.

"Wow, good job. I must admit I never expected you to hit me. I grow tired of you now though."

An aura of white energy surrounded Krystell. Her hair was blown around by an unseen wind. Two swords appeared in her hands. She crouched down in a perculiar fighting stance. The two blades were held away from her body on opposite sides. She started to spin faster and faster until she reached the speed of the winds in an f4 tornado. She flew at the Avatar in a whirlwind of silvery death.

A soft crackling noise indead, somewhere in the building someone was squeezing a crystal glass a bit too hard. Shoshemi dropped her leg and threw her arms up in defense, both still sheathed in the force field. The staff flew wide, but the lightning bolt connected, sending Shoshemi flying backwards about 20 ft. The fields took the brunt of it, but the discharge had cause her to lose control of her motor muscles for a second or so. As she got up. she turned towards Alex who, still sitting craddling her arms, seemed to be counting.

((Whatever happened to Psychological warfare? You're approaching this the wrong way. Here's a hint...

The avatar judges all he sees.

Really, there is one SIMPLE way to defeat him. A tiny little thing that can obliterate him in one hit. Think hard.))

The random elements simply faded away before they touched the avatar.

He seemed blissfully unaware that Krystell was heading towards him with sword death.

Almost TOO unaware. He was looking right at her, and he wasn't moving one inch. He HAD to be unaware. ...Right?

-----

She also saw the five hands descended towards Alex, and begin to punch and slap at her.

She had other things to worry about, because the avatar was charging, his staff bearing down.

((Thought hard, didn't work, gonna blow him up :P))

And then Krystell vanished! She didn't give any signal of where she had gone, but if the Avatar had looked hard enough she was floating in front of the sun ((Yes, her Pocket has one))

She stretched out her hand and grabbed a passing piece of metal. It was a sample of Inphantium she had picked up a long time ago on a planet that was no more. It was completely unbreakable, even Lord Diov himself couldn't have broken it. ((Before you say anything, that statement is true. Nothing at all can break Inphantium, not even all the powers of the Void.))

Taking the bar of Inphantium, Krystell bent it into a horseshoe shape. She twirled around and flung it at the Avatar. If it hit him, it would wrap around his head and fuse together, effectively blindfolding him.

((Yes, that was a spur of the moment descision :P))

((If Krystell can bend it, so can Diov. Simple as that, but let's not argue about it.))

The bar hit the avatar dead on, wrapped around his head, and blindfolded him.

He still seemed blissfully unaware of everything, however. Almost as if he hadn't noticed the metal bar.

Then, he stretched out his hand towards the sun.

-----

Krystell suddenly felt an intense heat behind her.

The sun was falling.

((I haven't posted because life tends to creep up on me a lot lately -.- For instance, I'm working the midnight release of the Burning Crusade on Monday night...))

Alex was still counting, but the counting was odd. She was skipping numbers, a lot of them, and seemingly jumping around randomly. She was actually counting sectors of the timeline, where this Avatar existed or had been created, and there was a lot to count. The numbers meant something to her, probably a lot more than they did to the others, and worked into the calculations she was doing at great speed in her head. What were the calculations? How many sections of time she'd have to annihilate if worse came to worst to make it so this thing would have never existed, and the damage that it would create throughout the timestream. What would be reparable and irreparable? If it was irreparable, could she work around it? She was considering something that hadn't been done for many millennia, and for good reason.

((Aye, that he can. I never said it wasn't maleable, I said it was unbreakable And in case you haven't noticed yet, manipulating my dimension isn't going to work))

Krystell lazily reached out her hand and the sun stopped falling. She started manipulating her dimension into a different form. The Island around the started to shrink, benches started forming with two tables in front of all of them. A Podium stood at the front of the room. Krystell had turned her dimension into a courtroom!

((My turn to be the judge ;P))

((I feel kinda bad for you Thunder. You're gonna be swamped with WoW Nerds. (If anyone mentions the increase to Blood Elf muscle mass, just save yourself a lot of trouble and just smile and nod ) ))

((Beleive it or not Krystell, you just negated the only way to kill the avatar. Now it's up to Alex and Shoshemi.))

The avatar didn't even seem to notice the change to the enviroment.

However, Krystell probably noticed something.

On the back wall, behind the judges podium...

Was a statue of the avatar of Justice, perfectly rendered, complete with staff.

Two odd things hit her about the statue though.

One, that the metal blindfold on the real avatar was also around this one.

Two, that it had a decided smug and wicked look on its lips.

Krystell probably hadn't intended to conjure the statue, it just seemed to form as the courthouse appeared.

Whether or not this was Krystell's dimension, she had just brought the avatar to its place of absolute power. She had just made him more powerful, and even tougher.

((Gotcha.))

-----

((Hey Alex, the five hands are punching/slapping you with enough force to obliterate black holes. Waiting on you there.))

Posted

((I brought you in, but I can take you out.))

"Bah!" Krystell let out an exclamation of frustration when she noticed the Avatar at the podium. Just as suddenly as it had changed, the dimension changed again.

It became a huge portal to Earth! Both Krystell and the Avatar were sucked through and spit out in what seemed to be Time Square in New York City.

"Let see what you can do here."

Krystell sent a blast of fire at the Avatar. It was hotter than the sun, but it's heat was confined to a very small area. Krystell had also packed a little surprise in it for the Avatar.

((Word of advice, don't let that thing hit you.))

The avatar simply stodd there, and didn't dodge or move otherwise as the fireball roared closer.

Posted

The fireball hit the Avatar head on, but didn't affect him at all. ((I know this guy well enough by now to know it wouldn't even faze him))

If the Avatar had known what was in the fireball though, he would have avoided it. The fireball had simply been a disguise. The real threat lay within it. For within it, there was a Carbon Spark! ((Hehe, never thought you'd see that again huh? Krystell picked it up from H'taed as he warped to the Dimension of Mists, remember?))

The carbon spark started to copy the Avatar's electric signature, unless he acted fast, something bad was going to happen.

A complete carbon copy of the Avatar rose on the street.

It immediately turned away from the real avatar, and started throwing bolts of lightning, light, and energy at Krystell.

The real avatar's lips curved into a smug smirk.

The carbon spark had copied the electrical and energized aspects of the avatar all right.

Including the single pure pattern that coursed throughout his being.

"Destroy the un-lawful."
