((Ugh, working and trying to RP, not a good combination. BTW I work tomorrow AKA Saturday from 7am pacific till probably around 3 or 4pm so hopefully nothing too drastic will happen while I'm gone >_<)
Standing beside Krystell ((I just realized I've been spelling her name wrong, sorry)), Shoshemi could feel the void. She wondered if their "processing" actually worked, so she tried to conjure a force field. All she got was a small bubble about the size of her fist. Something was blocking her ability to control the Weave. ((Anyone that has ever played D&D will know what I'm talking about))
Shoshemi sat down on a bench that was in the room. Out of one of her pockets she pulled a small scroll. It was fairly ordinary looking, as scrolls go, except maybe a little tattered and worn. She began reading it. The runes written on it glowed a slight blue as she went over them. When she was done, the void felt that much smaller. Shoshemi was certain she could use some of her powers if need be, but not all, and not to the the degree she could have before being "processed."
She stood up and walked to the machine that was labeled "Anything. Speak Clearly." So she said "Meditation pillow," and out one came. Finding a confortable spot, Shoshemi put the pillow down, sat down on it and began meditating. She had her eyes closed, but she was still fully aware of her surroundings.

Alex snorted at this. She checked, her connection was well beyond clear, it was still perfect. Then again, it wasn't exactly a transmission as much as... voices in her head. Like she's insane. But she isn't. No matter, she shrugged, ignoring the remark.
"Ooh, and whatcha gonna do to 'em? Huh huh?"

"Please, by all means, keep trying to use mental thought to talk with your imanginary GoPC friends. I assure you that we have run into plenty of other psychics and telepaths. Your thoughts may sill get through, but I'm afraid that so can we."
Even though Noitpeced seemed to remain calm, spiritually he was tensed. The moment he sensed Krystell even begin to formulate a thought directed to the GoPC, he would latch onto that thought and cause all sorts of hell.
-----
Shoshemi thought she felt something...
The Void within her started to grow again.
The nanites had been well-made, and relentless dug into his mind. They found the new powers and abilities Shoshemi might have regained from reading that scroll, and removed them from her mind again.
Just to be extra sure, they also drilled into the short term memory section, and eradicated the scroll from her memory as well.
((Gawd, anymore mini-operations and soon Shoshemi might find herself without any brains LEFT...))
-----
Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"About. Damn. Time." Noitpeced spat as he hovered over. The door swung open and...
In came a single Enforcer, and a little black orb that had a television screen hooked onto it. It floated along with the enforcer.
"My name is Mr. White. I will be here at all times to remind you of the consequences of your actions. Please view this screen."
On the screen was the picture of a water-planet. The scene suddenly changed to that of a gas giant. Then to a planet with only forests. The picture kept constantly changing every second to an image of a new planet.
"Despite all the precautions we have already taken...We find it highly unlikey that any of them have worked, or will work in the near future. So this is to make sure you stay in line. The moment any of you start to act up, Mr. Doomsday screen here will randomly select a planet to blow up with a random doomsday device we havn't gotten around to using yet. After that, it will proceed to randomly select a second said planet and a second said doomsday device...And it will continue to do so as long as you three dis-obey any set rules by us. The view screen is just for your convenience, of course. It's not the actual executer. I just brought it here because I'd thought you'd like the view of a hundred or so planets being utterly obliterated because of your actions. So this is your warning. Don't [censored] with us."
And he walked merrilly out of the room. The view screen stayed behind, the planets still flashing by on the screen.
Noitpeced let out a sigh of relief.
"Ok, you three are free to do whatever you want. And a bit of advice, don't open a door if you don't understand the label, it could be hazerdous for your health. Unless you have any IMPORTANT questions, I'll be leaving now."
The door leading back into the hallway remained open.
Alex looked very obviously overconfident. She didn't care to mention why, but the threat by the Mr. White didn't phase her at all. In fact, she almost looked happy.
"So where are we supposed to be going, Mister N? Anywhere in particular?"
((I might pull a Matrix fairly soon here <.< >.> You'll see what I mean...))

Noitpeced shrugged. "Hell if I know. Walk straight into a dimensional furnace for all I care."
"Oh well, if that's the case, show me the door!" Alex shrugged.
That wasn't all that happened. Something changed. Like a shift in the wind almost, a feeling that you've forgotten to do something important, but you can't remember what it is. And then it was gone, just like that. As if nothing happened.

((Ah the assumptions one makes... And on a side note, you yourself has said this on many, many occasions, when you RP you have control of your character alone. Yes, for the sake of the story we let you have a little control, but you're starting to cross that boundary, especially with me.))
She thought she felt something, and she really did. But thankfully Diov can't spell and said "his." Last time we checked Shoshemi is a female, so this "his" mind wasn't actually her's. She remained intact, apart from the initial "processing." And as effective as nanites are, for one so in tune with her body and surroundings as Shoshemi, they would be effective to start out because of their invasive nature, but would eventually be resisted. Diminshing returns ftw.
((For those of you reading, don't put this post into the actual storyline, it's just me ranting a little in a sarcastic manner. And Diov will probably respond saying I should've PM'd him, and I would've if it wasn't 1am. Please don't cry Diov, I just want the fighting to start again [in the RP, not between the posters]))

Only Noitpeced had vanished, and didn't bother to respond.
((Yeah, it does sort of get away from you sometimes. H'taed, its one thing to set out "feelings" like what I just did. They don't actually affect characters in serious ways. Sometimes the posts that you make actually damage a character, and that isn't fun. If you're planning on doing something like that, you should ask the person first, make sure they consent to it. If they don't, you need to try another idea.
And please don't take that the wrong way :P We're 40 pages in now, we know you have MORE than enough ideas to keep going for some time. Just dig into that bag!))

((Well, I'd hate to think H'taed isn't made of tougher stuff than that. He's taken me in stride pretty well so far :P))
"Oh well THAT was rude." Alex shifted her weight onto mostly one leg, crossing her arms. "So where are we going? We have a few choices."
There was that feeling again, as she was talking. Only it was more obvious where it was coming from. Alex was shimmering slightly, only very slightly, barely enough to be noticed and only if you looked closely.
"Should we explore a bit? Or look for H'taed directly?"
Something DEFINITELY changed that time. The shimmer around Alex dropped abruptly. As it did, there was a light whisper, a man's voice talking low, then nothing.
"Up to you, I'm ready for anything!"
Alex was definitely doing something, and it wasn't just her acts alone. Someone or something was there.
((Dunno when I'll be back in the morning, but I'll get here eventually :P like I said, just have Alex tag along if you move))

~I take it most of the precautions have failed.~
"Erm...Yes, or they are GOING to fail in the near future...Really my lord, these three are just too heavy duty. They are backed by the Council."
~Your point being?~
"You do know who the Council is don't you?"
~Indeed.~
".....You don't even care do you?"
~Your assumption is correct.~
"So...Uh...What do we do?"
~Well I did tell him right from the begining he would receive no aid from us. Beyond our countermeasures to make sure they don't directly interfere with MY buisness, they can rip him in half and chuck him into the flesh mills and I couldn't care less.~
"What if they trash the place up?"
~You know perfectly well they can't.~
"Correction...What if they trash the DELICATE stuff up?"
~Well I don't care. The only delicate things we have around here are mass produced anyway.~
"So then...Umm...What do we even do?"
~Well...For one thing...I'd say H'taed still has the odds slanted in his favor. It may earn me a few brownie points with Ixsneum if I aid "followers of the council." So get rid of that silly screen, and seal the damned warehouse back up. I DO have plans for those weapons you know.~
"I can only dream sir. I'm taking care of the screen as we speak..."
-----
Suddenly the screen flashed to a particular planet made entirely of metal, wires, and cords...
and immediately the entire screen was filled with pop-up ads.
Red writing flashed across the screen.
"WARNING! ADWARE OVERLOAD! COMME-"
Then it exploded softly.
-----
"Well that's that...What next?"
~Well...For one thing...Wouldn't it be convenient if Lord H'taed ran into an unfortunate accident?~
"Eh?"
~Think about it...He's been couped up in his room with the device now for some time. Do you really think he can resist the temptation of opening it? And do you honestly believe he can handle the cargo?~
"No...to both questions."
~Exactly. He should take care of himself for us. Now, just letting them FIND the device would be a tad too convenient, so after he...expires...Toss it into some random dimension.~
"And what of Lord H'taed himself?"
~Oh, he's the Avatar of Lightning. He'll reform in a few days. He'll be pissed, but maybe it'll tone him down a little. I mean seriously, destroying Primal Earth? Is he forgetting all the investment I have in that worthless chunk of rock? He must pay the penalty for his actions.~
"You're sounding unusually virtuous. Since when did you give a damn about an entire universe, much less a single planet?"
~Let's just say that Primal Earth has one thing native to it. A very hard-to-find species...~
"Ah...You mean that lizard?"
~Yes. One of the three...But that's beside the point. Anyways...Recall that patrol we set on them as well.~
"What about the nanites and the ritual?"
~Do you really think they can't find a way around those? Let them figure a way out of those themselves. The answer is right in front of them. By the way, who put those convenience machines there again?~
"You did. You said guests would find them useful in the near future."
~So I did.~
"...I bet you didn't even plan any of this. You just went into the future."
~Which future?~
"Good point."
~Hmmm...Let's see...Oh, if that one brings the Council in however...Kill them all, resurect them and kill them again for good measures, and toss their remains into a dimensional furnace along with a flux bomb. As for the council themselves...If they want revenge, they are welcome to attempt to get it. I wish them luck."
"And the GoPC?"
~The same. If they bring in ANY reinforcements...The more beings there are here, the higher the chance somebody wanders into the wrong room and interferes in my buisness.~
"Oh, and uh, one last thing...They don't exactly know where his room is."
~Oh. Right. Well I'll take care of that.~
-----
Alex, Shoshemi, and Krystell all suddenly comprehended a strange thought.
They all knew exactly where H'taed was, and how to get to him. The thought just popped into their heads like it had always been there.
He was on the one hundreth and thirty third floor, 77 doors down to the right.
-----
~There. That's fixed.~
"My lord...I don't mean to pry...But...Do you really mean to just walk out on it?"
Silence.
~Let us just say...I may be walking out...But someone else is coming in.~
"Who?"
~Good-day, Noitpeced.~
"Oh no you don't, get back here right now, I KNOW you know exactly what's going to happen now get the hell back here and te..."
-----
Krystell was unfazed by Noitpeced's threat about the GoPC. SHe didn't need them anymore, she had everything she needed. She took the gem out of her pocket and it flashed. She remembered every power she had had before this whole thing had started. As soon as she was out of here though she would remmeber them all.
"I'm sure I wasn't the only one who had that strange thought. And from it, I am pretty sure Lord H'taed's time is coming to an end. Someone wants us to know where he is."
Krystell got up from her seat and walked over to the door.
"Well? C'mon!"
((lol, Spaceballs was a funny movie. "There's something you should know about us Lonestar. I am your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate." "So, what does that make us?" "Absolutely nothing!" ))
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
((HA Diov figured out where I was going!))
Shoshemi stood up abruptly. She went over to the machine that was labeled "Anything. Speak Clearly" and asked for an injection to rid herself of the nanites. And nicely one popped out, except it wasn't an injection, it came in pill form. She took it, and immediately felt the void begin to shrink. It would take a bit for it to run the course, but she accepted it for now.
"You're right, we'd best be off."

"Oh! That's a good idea Shoshemi!"
Krystell walked over to the convenience machine and grabbed a pill for herself. Almost instantly, she remembered all the skills she had gained since she popped into the battle with H'taed.
She walked over to the door and took a peek outside. Everything was clear so she stepped outside.
"Uhhh, anyone know where the elevator is?"
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
And suddenly they knew exactly where that was as well. 55 doors to the left through this door.
Only the door is locked. There is a key lying around somewhere.
((That was awesome back and forth dialog :P I enjoyed that))
Alex frowned a moment as there was another extremely light whisper, then smiled again after it finished.
"Well, how convenient is that. Its almost as if they WANT us to go places. Chop chop, let's get movin' kids! Places to go, things to see, people to do! Er, flip those last two. Let's go!"
Alex almost seemed hyper now, and the fingers on her right hand were twitching every so often, like they were tense, ready to do something.

Krystell zipped down the corridor to the door. She turned the knob, but it wouldn't move.
"Heh, it's locked. That's cute."
An orb of energy appeared in her hands. She charged it for a few seconds and blasted it at the door.
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
And was probably surprised when it reflected right off it and back into her face.
And suddenly, another mysterious thought popped into all their minds out of the blue.
The entire Husk Corporation tower was made of a unique material that could not be affected by reality around it aside from other samples of the same material. The only reason the three could even walk on it was because the air in the building was compressed around the edges to create a solid surface. Lord Diov had found this material on a now obliterated planet. He had destroyed the entire dimension just to make sure nobody else could have the stuff.
They would have to find the key first if they wanted through.
Krystell zipped to the side as the energy blast came at her. She wasn't too surprised.
"Of course that wouldn't work, that would be too easy."
She started zipping around at supserspeed into any area that was open. She needed to find that key if they were ever getting out of here.
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
A strange thought occured to her again. Something was definatly screwy with all these inspirational ideas...
The key was hidden in the "mad triple room."
"Ok, I know what the name of the room it is, but that doesn't really help me."
She zipped by the doors now, not bothering to look inside. She was looking for one labled "Mad Triple Room".
"Life is hard; it's harder if you're stupid." - John Wayne
And conseqently zipped right past the door, because the Mad Triple Room door is right next to the elevator door.
Alex yells out, standing by the door.
"Looking for this one? I think its this one!"

"BAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!"

"Alright, which one of you contacted an area outside the the tower? I'm getting very annoyed. Let's see, commencing trace...And...OOOOOOO...Naughty Naughty..."
He turned to Krystell.
"At this point, I'm personally sick and tired of you. But you know what? I'm going to let it slide. Keep your powers. They won't help you one bit. However, just let it be known to all of you...All forms of outside communication and transportation are about to be permanently CUT OFF. Want to know why? Lord Diov is back from his self-proclaimed vacation. And now that he is powering the building again, everything is running at optimal performance now. Which means, guess what?"
He suddenly sliced his hand through the air in a karate-chop.
Everyone thought they heard a faint trace of static in her ears before...
And then a noise akin to dragging a finger nail across a chalkboard echoed throughout the entire room. The entire place lit up briefly with a purple glow, and then all returned to normal.
Noitpeced seemed to smirk.
"Feel free to TRY and contact any of your allies. I garuntee you right now. You'll fail, and you'll only be giving us cordinates to the location of said allies..."
He let that veiled threat hang in the air.
