Krystell heard Alex and she zipped back to the door next to the elevator. Indeed, it was the "Mad Triple Room".

She prodded the door a bit with her hand. It didn't seem trapped. She opened it ever so slowly...

The door opened into a small cubical silver walled room. There were three silvery pedestals in the center, each of which had a key on it.

The first key was made of White Ivory...

The second was made of Grey Stone...

And the third was made of darkest Obsidian.

There were no labels, however, and no additional breakthroughs came to mind.

Krystell looked at Alex.

"Well, which one do you think we should try?"

There was a short light whisper, but she didn't give more than a shrug.

"I have no idea. You pick!"

"Ugh, this couldn't be easy could it? I just know something bad is going to happen no matter which one we pick up."

Krystell walked over after a moment of thought she reached out a hand for the Ivory key.

And as she reached for the ivory key...A sudden thought occured to them, also out from nowhere.

"You have no idea how right you are."

But of course, it was far too late.

The key exploded in a shower of white light...

And the entire back wall slid back to reveal three passageways. Two of them had bars over them, but one was open.

And out from this opening sprang...

Three Krystell's. Well, they were obviously Krystell, but several things were differant about each. One was dressed in slightly lighter clothes then herself, and her eyes where pure white. The second wore nothing except dazzling white versions of her clothes, and her sword was now made of ivory instead of metal. The final Krystell was just a big puff of white light solidified into her general form.

These three "Good" copies of Krystell all launched attacks at the original, however. Three beams of light and energy rushed towards here.

OOC

You've probably guessed it by now, but each "key" unlocks a portion of your soul. The white key unlocks the portion that is more inheritly GOOD. You can probably guess what the other two keys do from there. And for some reason, it spawns THREE manifestations of your better self...And no matter how virtuous they are, they seem intent on killing you.

Where the hell do I get these ideas?

((I may have to use that idea I mentioned earlier in a PM. By the way, Krystell's armor is pure white, you can't get lighter than that))

"Oh boy..." Krystell disappeared and appeared behind the Krystell of pure light. She put her hand inside it and suddenly it was gone ((Power Sink sure is helpful sometimes.))

Krystell disappeared again and reappeared right in front of the three beams before they had even collided. Another power sink put a stop to them.

The othet two Krystell's were still left though, and they looked pissed.

((I don't have any control over them. They're figments of YOUR soul not mine.

But just to make this post constructive...))

The door leading back into the hallway snapped shut behind them, and a faint click could be heard from it.

Krystell opened a portal below the two remaining Krystells that led to Omega Upsilon 5-9. They fell in and were never seen again.

"Well, I don't think any of these are the keys to the elevator. I guess we'll have to think of a way to find it."

And suddenly another thought rolled through their heads that seemed to come from nowhere.

"Maybe I should pick another key..."

Plus, it wasn't like they could go anywhere with the door shut behind them.

Alex backs off during this.

"Ohkay...I'm not going to touch those keys, I'm sorry. That could be...very bad."

~What is it keeper? Afraid of that which is Beyond Good and Evil?~ Rang a voice throughout the room in a mocking tone, before falling silent again.

"I got it! I hope."

Krystell reached for the gray key and prayed she was right.

Alex's look turned serious at the voice, and she spoke out loud.

"No. I just don't want clones of me doing YOUR job. You destroy at will, I try to stop you. I'd ask if you can imagine the damage I could do, but then again, you probably already know. There are much worse things than destroying something outright."

As Krystell reached for the grey key...

It melted in her hand. All the pedestals sank into the ground.

The bars on the middle gate opened, and out came...

Another pedestal. There was a scroll of parchment on it. There was also a plaque on the front of the pedestal, proclaiming...

"For one who is beyond Good and Evil."

There was a soft purple glow surrounding the parchment.

((Let me guess <.< that's for Alex?))

Alex stood still, fixing her gaze on the pedestal and parchment.

"I don't like that. I don't like that at all."

((And sorry for the short posts...for the moment I'm kinda limited :P))

Krystell backed away from the pedestal.

"Beyond Good and Evil? That doesn't sound like me."

((Beyond Good and Evil is also the name of a video game on the Xbox.))

((Yea, I know. I had that game at one point. Got bored while fighting the huge ginormous space claw thingie near the end...This has nothing to do with that.))

((Well.. Alex is inherently good I suppose, being that she's a Keeper. I dunno about the other two... I suppose Alex IS above that whole thing, she more does what's good for the universe, not necessarily what's people think is "good"))

((Wait a minute! I see how this works! It says it is for one who is "Beyond Good and Evil". If you touch the keys, you must fight your good side and your evil side. If you defeat them both you are "Beyond Good and Evil"! Since the "Good" key is gone and Krystell is the one who defeated her good side, I guess the scroll is meant for me after I defeat my evil side.))

I'm almost thinking Sho, just because she's "pure." She's above good or evil, she's more truth. Bleh, I dunno x.x))
