It looks right good to me! I'm not entirely certain how cheesecake it is... I licked it but all I tasted was just and static electricity from the monitor. Either way, it's right good and you have no reason to be nervous! I don't know if it's good girl art though... she looks right devious...
That's freaking great DB! I really like the calendar theme, especially since I was hoping that she'd wind up August in the 'Ladies of the Dark Isles' calendar. You know, "Hot August Nights" and all.
The barbed wire ring is a very cool border choice. I rarely do any real border work myself, as a part of the piece. I'm getting kinda jealous that you thought of it and not me. Also, the details like how her boots are unlaced and how they have *exactly* 10 lace holes each, are spectacular. From all the work you've done (that I've seen) you do detailwork really quite well. The fact that people know you a lot for your more simplified drawings is both good and bad. It's good, because it's much harder to make a simple drawing look good than an over detailed one. It's easy to hide mistakes in details, whereas a simple drawing has nothing to hide behind. It's bad in that, people don't know how much of a technical artist you can be and the potential you have hidden away in secret. You can't hide it anymore, DB. I'm on to you. :3
You even got the sharp shape of her ponytail right and her trademark cowlick. For that I'm eternally grateful. And I dunno why you're worried about making her too cheesecakey. You obviously haven't heard about Melanie's mouth when she's in PvP. She's probably one of the more lecherous and flirtatious villains in the zone. She makes Cackle blush.
(Well, not really, but she likes to think so. She does go 'pantsless' for him a lot though.)
Her outfits also run the gamut. She's a clothes horse and has outfits for all sorts of moods and situations. Anything you could make up aside from a goody goody foo foo dress would be appropriate. And even that might be hilarious fun to see.
If there's anything I'd ask you to change, it'd be if you could possibly make her eyes looking at you/the camera. I love the way her eyes turned out, cause she really has that intense kinda glare. I think it'd be magnified if her focus was on the viewer. Makes for a more aggressive mood.
Something I would not change, the setup of the spikes on the barbed wire. If the wires go opposite directions from each loop end, then where is that one she's sitting on headed?

in regards to being to much cheesecake? errmmm, I dont think so. while it is a gal in a skimpy top the intent isnt really there that I can see for it to be cheesecake as such it really doesnt present itself as "ooo...look at me I'm a hot elven chickie"

I try to steer away from the top heavy goddes in revealing atire style , so when I do draw someone in a skimpy outfit I always wonder if I went overboard .
I post lots of sketches here :P but im not as active as some folks lately due to way too much school work while going for my RN
Plus I try to mostly post CoX related art , I doubt the forums would be happy with all the Unicorn Drawings I have in my sketch book

Awwww!!! That's so cute! She looks so devilish!!! I do LOVE the look of Melanie, she's so impishly evil (and you know I have a softspot for redheads ). I don't think you went overboard at all! I think this is more sexy evil rather than overtly sexual.
And if you uploaded all your cute stuff to dA then we could SEE your adorable unicorn drawings without having threads for it onthe art boards!!!! 
I looks really good DB. Sence of whimsy, check, sence of proportions, check, cool frame, check. I like it.
One tiny detail, and it really might just be me. Her right foot. The top of the lower half ( foot) seems out of alignment with the upper half ( ankle/calf). It looks like it needs to be rotated slightly to her right. (( I just asked my 10 yr old daughter, and she pointed it out too. She's the one that is learning to draw.)

A few folks gifted me some really keen DB art out of the blue a few days ago so I wanted to try to return the favor
First up on my hit list is the Character played by Suichiro, Massacre' Melanie.
I tried to doodle her up in a classic calender girl pose and went for a beach/summer theme (I'll miss you summer) and tried to keep the things that instantly reminded me of the character .
