Naughty Nadya vs Ms. Liberty

Well now, if you've been following some of my stuff you probably remember my Semi-NSFW pic of Naughty Nadya. It seems that NN (and a few other people) liked the pic, so... I'm taking another poke at her.

This time though, it's Naughty Nadya vs Ms. Liberty, and the girls are getting brutal. This may be part of a series of shots with these two rivals going at it.

(actually, I'm thinking of holding a writing contest once a few more "frames" are done)

Either way though, I hope you all like this one. And NN, I hope it's what you were looking for.

Very nice! Chickapalooza! (boy do I miss JLU)

Tres cool!

I love your style. So smooth and dynamic.

Thanks guys, it was fun to draw actually. The glow wasn't exactly what I had envisioned... but pretty darm close.

Very cool and unique looking, I love the style

No matter how mighty the villain, sometimes ya gotta resort to hair pulling.

Posing looks like it was a pain to do, but not a bad end product

I really like it so far. The lighting is a very nice touch and the pose is... well... it's a good pose

I do have to ask, are you finnished with it because it looks like Miss. Liberty could use a touch more definition in her boots and right arm (our left).

Great stuff though and a real joy to the eye!

Yeah, I'm about 95% done. Just a few more touch ups.

I absolutely love it! Only thing missing is the bones on her chest. *Muah, Scampers off to add to her collection.*

Funny you say that because I had them in one version but I must have hid the layer. No worries, I'll put them back in.

Well.. It's a cool piece... Not your typical pose, but certainly relays the intensity of the scene. Very nice!

As an aside all I have to say is.. CATFIGHT! ! ! Where's the popcorn?!? <pulls up chair to watch the festivities>

QFT.

Great pose, excellent lighting, still too mushy in places.

Agred, a couple of places are a bit too soft (ie. boots and such). But I kind of wanted the emphasis to be in the face region anyway and am scared to put too much into the other areas.

(FYI, did a couple of minor changes for ya NN)

I see the line down the center but not the rib cage design.

Don't be afraid! You can still firm up the edges to make it look more solid without adding a lot of detail. Then, if you keep the detail in the face, the eye will be drawn to that. Another trick you can use is to desaturate areas that you don't want the eye drawn to. (Sponge tool in Photoshop.)

Oooh, do tell (never used that tool actually).

Does it really need all that augmentation? As it sits now, the look of the picture suggests that this is an actual painted porcelain 'figurine' ...especially with the soft-edged curves and overhead lighting falling around the boots and so forth.

You could sell the idea of it being so, and I bet you weeks down the road... someone would swear they saw that exact 'hand-painted statuette' selling on eBay.

It's your third choice with the Dodge and Burn tools. You can set it to either add to the Saturation or Desaturate. It's a very very handy little tool if you want to emphasize or de-emphasize parts of your piece in a subtle way.

Superb work as always Juggertha

Did you have live models? or a picture? I am asking because the position is so good.
