You know you're in a Great PUG when....
...everyone of your 8 hero team goes around the gulch in the hollows instead of running head first into a group of pumicites
This sadly, has never happened to me.
When, during a lowbie sewer run, the newbies notice the purple glow around the Hellion's head, and just in case, they actually ask what it means!
Not only that, but during the rest of the run, they actively avoid attacking the mobs with that glow!
I was so proud...

Or, when your 8 man team in the Hollows goes through the gulch because it is faster and don't take any aggro. This is the mark of people who know what they are doing.
When a 16/17 lowbie team has two brutes, one dominator, and one bots/FF master mind(with medicine pool) and can basically clean house in wall to wall packed hordes of lost.
Or when an Atlas sewer team cleans house so well that said team keeps the momentum up all the way through the Hollows without mucking around.
Amazingly, not all PUGs are bad, and you get good PUGs in City of Heroes/Villains compared to say WOW (where *nobody* teams unless they're 60 anyways, n00b.)
The truth is the solution from an equation of lies. ~Maileah Kirel
Your team of 6 waltzes through Frostfire like it is nothing. One tank, two scrappers, one blaster, my Ice/storm controller and an Emp defender. Great balance, great speed, but we all stayed together, to take advantage of my slows and the defender's heals. Also, some amusing chatting along the way. This, to me, was just about an ideal team. I added them all to friends, and got the Tank to join my Supergroup.
Most of my PUGs are decent . . . not as great as the team above, but pretty good players who make a few mistakes. Often we will have one, usually a blaster or scrapper, who does something careless which causes his character to faceplant. No one "blames" anyone else, and usually we all laugh knowingly how doing something dumb will get you to lick the floor. On occasion, you may have a tank or blaster who likes to jump the gun and start the action before my controller is ready (I play controllers most often), but that just means that the team will not get full benefit of my powers. Most of the PUGs are generally a fun experience.
LOCAL MAN! The most famous hero of all. There are more newspaper stories about me than anyone else. "Local Man wins Medal of Honor." "Local Man opens Animal Shelter." "Local Man Charged with..." (Um, forget about that one.)

Had one about a week and half ago but forgot to post:
When you join a team of strangers for Hollow missions and the following happens:
1) Everyone that is new to the game would ask questions and get intelligent, non-sarcastic answers.
2) The mission was too low for good XP but instead of complaining everyone agrees to work together to get rid of it.
3) Being that the mission is very easy, the team participates in light hearted chatter throughout the mission.
I had such a good time, despite the good XP I was hoping for, I sent a tell to the leader to invite my alt so I could reward everyone and gave everyone 99,999 influence. (I don't give to non-sg members very often).
I even rejoined after I finished up a few other things and did frost fire three more times, all too low of level.
You have 3 /kin corruptors. hahaha this happened to me today, and it was absolutley amazing..we blazed through atleast a dozen mishes, triple SB is truly a sight to behold. So is having so many siphon powers goin on that it looks like you have FS in your low 20s!!! 8D
Had an amazing team last night. Thanks to all involved! I started at 8th and ended up 12th. Everything went so well, and all involved had a great time running a half dozen missions including two run throughs of FF in the Hollows! We had zero travel related deaths, and I think I only died three times, twice because I misued my new Taunt power and brought an entire room of +1's down on my head.

I'd like to say that I prefer teaming over playing solo, only soloing when I have to clear low level missions, and maybe street sweeping mishes. The majority of my PuG experiences have been great, and too many to mention here.
I will say that I did my first ever respec trial last friday and other than having to restart after 2 mishes because we started out on invincible, it went swimmingly. After reading all the horror stories from that OTHER PuG thread I was actually surprised when it was over. Picked my respec from the list (was even kindly reminded by a veteran of the trial that we had to SELECT the respec or we wouldn't get it) and even picked up a few friends that I've been teaming with since then.
Love my PuG's...
When your villain has Ice, Fire, Sonic, and FFs on you and your team is chewing through missions because nothing seems to be able to hurt you.
Centinull
u can go thro plus 5's like they are greens, yes this has happened, and yes it was amazing
During the 10th+ battle (with no team deaths at all) one or more of the damage dealers says,
"BRB, bio!"
... and STILL no one dies during the fights...
Honest, it's happened a few times in the last month!!
Any other good team events out there?
