Jack..PLEASE DONT. This so called early game last 2-4 hours of game time.

If people are tired of the content for ALTs they can just street sweep and actually level faster...

Please direct your efforts on the HIGHER LEVELS. Maybe post-40 content as well?

While I'd love more higher level stuff, the fact is that the lower level game lasts 2-4 hours, per character, not 2-4 hours. For someone with 50 characters thats 100-200 hours total. For someone like me, with over 100 total characters (in CoH), thats 200-400 hours, more time than I've spent in any other level range (except possibly the level 50 crash zone). In CoH, it's bearable. In CoV, doing the same missions over and over... I'd like at least a bit more variety. Besides, it's not like it'll take that much work to pull off.

You are "out of the mainstream"

It does feel like its just a continuation from the break out. We have
to do the same thing over and over when we roll alts.

Looking forward to the changes!

They also start throwing lower echelon heroes at you around then as well (I've taken out the Sea Witch, and at least one other who's name I can't remember, plus Ms. Shock from the cape mission).

I tried twice today to completely skip Mercy.

Out out the Zig, I jumped the citadel and swimmed straight south to the boat (I had to put some distance between me and these longbow agents)

When I arrived in Port Oakes, I spoke to my broker and did newspaper missions until I hit Threat Level 5, where I can get heist missions.

Tip: Try to choose snakes or skulls missions, these are often set in caves around the island and can be reached by swimming, without running into purple mobs.

Annoying thing: Every three mission, you have to go back to the broker...who doesn't have hanything for you before you reach heist level.

My Spino-sense (tm) tells me this could come as well for heroes soon (tm)

You guys are probably way into something already, or are already are working on something similar to this but, how about a 2nd tutorial? One that starts you in the Rogue Isles. Since some people like to say no one has ever caught them.

We're asking for this same exact thing in CoH too Lokana. It's probably easier for them to make such content for Villains, but Heroes could also seriously use some AT-Centered missions.

Defenders, and MM's could assist a Garrison of entrenched Longbow/Arachnos soldiers in a "Keep atleast XX men alive for XX minutes" base-style Onslaught. Controllers and Dominators could assist some bounty hunters pursuing runners/fugitives. Blasters and Corruptors could lead an assault team against large amounts of destructables. Brutes and Scrappers ... Well they do fine with the current content. Tankers and Stalkers could lead missions against just bosses while being supported by a couple of summonable LT's for backup(They'd have 3 to choose from--Nem Sniper, Crey Medic, or a CairnStone, but could only summon and have 2 of them out simultaneously).

I heard if anyone beats States to the office, he cuts their brake lines to make their trip home more fun.

No no no -- they weren't "cut," they were "reduced in effectiveness" so you can "diversify your stopping options."

i do not know what is worse. someone who has reached 40 already complaining about no end game content (not that anyone has but give it a few weeks) or someone with 12 alts complaining about low end content.

there is alot in the middle you know.

Where are the "villainous" missions?

[/ QUOTE ]
We do get to rob banks on a regular basis, though you'd think the old 22nd would be out of business by the number of times it's been hit. I hope there's more variety of places to rob at higher levels, maybe even an armored truck heist in an outdoor Instance.

We do get to fight more heroes once you pass level 10. My 16th level villain has fought more heroes compared to the lack of supervillains my hero encoutered by the time they were 16th. It's hard to count AVs because you need a group for them and combat is so frantic with all the minions, it's more fun to face your foe toe-to-toe by yourself.

CoV is a very sanitized form of villainy. I've noticed some of the NPCs 'hostages' you rescue saying things like 'You ought to be a hero' - which just made me want to kill them on the spot

We're not the modern, Hannibal Lector kind of villains, I guess Cryptic went more for the classic Golden Age villains who always try to take over/destroy the world but never seem to end up killing people in the process. /shrug They've already said that this game wasn't going to be Grand Theft Auto with superpowers.

I vote for the 40-already guy. SLOW IT DOWN!!!

Otherwise, ditto on expanding the early CoV game. Even if you just have 1 toon of each AT, slugging through Kalinda and Mongoose over and over is tedious.
