Prepare now: The Strike Forces of CoV
[ QUOTE ]
I think you have to get a SG badge to unlock the SG Base Mission Computer. My villain group already has it, so it can't be too hard to get. I'll try to dig up what you need to do to earn it.

I got it from sk/mentoring. After sk'ing or mentoring someone for long enough, the mentor opens it for their SG
What about the contact lady in Fort Cerberus on Mercy Isle that says to come back to her when you hit lvl 15? Anyone know if she gives a TF?
I assume Silver Mantis villains are higher than Lvl 21. Just curious because I'd like to run one of the SF this weekend.
Thanks

I think that is Seer Marino? no maybe, if so she just gives a story arc, whcih if u read the story is a pretty good storyline to it.
No 30-35 SF? I am wondering when Issue one of CoV come out if they will add more, I hope so as the content would be desired

Trasprecial (2nd Respec Trial)
Location: Northern Nerva Archipelago
Level Range: 30-40
Auto-RSK Level: 40
Villain Groups: DE, Circle of Thorns
AVs: Thorn Tree

I spoke with her at level 30, and she said something akin to "You are not strong enough. Come back when you have attained level of level", which I imagine is a text bug.
Now, if I was of appropriate level at 30, she would have said "You will need 4 heroes to attempt this". Is it confirmed on Live that 30-40 is the level range for the second Respec? And what about the third Respec? Sparcetrial mentions you can "Re-Make yourself" 3 times.
Thanks for eight fun years, Paragon.
I answered the first part of my question - the second Respec is 31+.
Now, about where that third Respec contact is...?
Thanks for eight fun years, Paragon.
ok
1) if I am level 21 or 22 can I still recieve the task force mission or must the group leader be 15-20?
2) what happens to a 21 in this SF, since they are exemplared do they recieve no experience?
3) If you do not sneak past any of the missions clicking glowies - - but instead fight your way through the majority of the mission fighting mobs you need to but not clearing the whole zone - - what is your time estimate?
I did the Virgil SF twice yesterday. I was 21 and the leader was 22. Anyone over 20 is auto-malefactored to being 20 and gains infamy or pays debt.
You do get a really cool Binder of Beasts badge and get an SO +3 to your current level.

for the PTS map on the 15-20 SF, it really helps if you have a person with stealth/fly and possibly recall friend to find the foreman. It took about 45 minutes to do that mish alone without looking for him, until we realized how big the map was

Wait, so you get a badge for doing that SF now?
thanks for the info bell!
The Ice Mistral SF is pretty short as well and has a unique map at the end. Did it with 4 people: 3 MMs and my little Stalker butt. Not hard at all...until the final room. It's not MM friendly and the final AV will, well, you WILL die. No one can survive his, god what would you call it, Mass Genocide? Seriously, either it's broken or it's made that you have to run away through part of the fight. The only other group that I know that completed it wiped 3 times before finally killing him. The badge at the end is awarded though and it's called Crystal Keeper, it looks cool. Oh and there are Carnies in the damn SF, ugh.

We did that SF this weekend and we did all die in the last fight. Our Ninja Stalker made a good show of it using the ninja form of elude, she kept killing and killing until it dropped and so did she.
After that, we all got back down there and handed the AV his @$$.

Just wanted to say that the AV at the end of Renault's SF is a 2-part guy. The first is a Coralax Priesnt named ::bleh:: can't remember. The 2nd, and most obscene thing I have ever faced is the Eye of Leviathan. It's impossible to beat, worse than Hamidon. Going to write a guid about the SF in general tomorrow I think. If anyone has beaten that damn Eye, PLEASE tell me how you did it.

Did it this evening... Started the SF with four villains -- Inv/SS Brute (40 auto-malefactored), Merc/Dark MM (33, auto-malefactored), my Robot/Dark MM (33, auto-malefactored), and an Ice/Ice Corruptor (24, lackeyed to the Brute). A couple of missions in, the Corruptor had to leave, so we finished the SF as a team of 3. Having gotten shafted on this SF by Calystyx before, we went straight for him and pulled him back into the tunnel where we could lock him down; took two tries, but he crashed and took the damn coral sentinels with him. Taking the eye was just tedious; I tried throwing my robots at it (figuring I could always summon more) to see where its line of fire was. We finally wound up planted on the ledge at the back of the eye, with the Brute pounding on the eye, both MMs spamming heals to debuff the eye and keep the Brute healed, while our henchmen shot the Coralax away from us. I went down with the eye about 2000 HP, the other MM went down at around 1500, but I was right next to the Brute, so I could feed several damage and CaB inspirations to him, which kept him pounding long enough to pop the eye, completing the mission and the SF.
Because we were all malefactored down, we didn't get any SF bonus, and due to the SFs still being bugged, no badges, although I did get this coral cone attack temporary power that's good for three days. Whee.

Hmm, is it just me or is it a little unrealistic to expect SGs to have this sophisticated a base by level 25? I mean, an expert worktable, necessary salvage, Mission Computer badge, high power and control... the prerequisite list is huge!
Why make a Strike Force especially for new recruits and alts, where the members who earned all the prerequisites get no XP? Ah well...

My SG did it, and we're not too big or hard core.

I'm guessing the third respec is 41+ or something like that. Contact probably won't be added until Issue 1, when the cap is raised to 50.
Where is Strike Force Leader Renault located within Sharkshead?
15-20 for the virgil tf, though from what I understand the enemies are 20 or 21, so you are better off waiting until you have some 18+ lvl villains in your group.
